The only issue we had was losing Internet, once we contacted the management team they were quick to schedule a maintenance check. We have stayed in another unit two prior years in the same building. Everything was great but the place needs maintenance. This is the second year the ice machine did not work and the clothes dryer took a long time to dry anything. This was the first year the security gate was wide open the entire week. We assumed it was being maintenanced. The gates to the back docks were not activated until the last nite. Our passcode would not work which was disappointing since it was our last nite there and we enjoyed walking out and watching fish at nite. We have experienced this several times before, it's no problem and we usually just use the pool facility until the room is ready. The management company refused to let us on the property until our condo was ready. They kept holding on to the "check in is after 3 not at 3". This is a ridiculous policy. Even on the rainy days (every day, but only for a little bit each day) they loved the condo and had a blast. The owner provided boogie boards, pool toys, a yard cart for transportation down to the beach and lawn chairs. My only gripe is that I had emailed prior to our travels (from Iowa) and asked if any of that would be in the room. The response I got basically just said "it is not required for the owners to provide those items." Which is totally fine but we wouldn't have wasted time and valuable space by packing our own stuff had we known. Still VERY generous to provide all of those things! The condo itself is gorgeous! We had plenty of room for our family of eight. The only downfalls I would say of the rental is they don’t give hand soap in the bathrooms, only 1 paper towel roll, and 1 toilet paper roll. However, there were many more reasons to love this particular place. They had anything you could possibly need in this condo (beach chairs, beach and pool toys, cooler, beach wagon, fully stocked kitchen, board games, etc.). This unit was a little bigger than the rest as well which was really nice, especially with a balcony in each bedroom. A special touch was the handmade photo book with suggestions on all the best places in town. We ate at one of the suggested restaurants (GT’s On The Bay) and it’s a new favorite. Do yourself a favor and get the surf and turf! The only thing about being on the 19th floor is having to wait on the elevator but it was really only an issue the first day when only one elevator was working. They got the other two fixed pretty quickly and we didn’t have any problems for the rest of the stay. We would definitely stay in this beautifully decorated unit with comfy beds anytime! - Nicole D. Would have been great views of the gulf from the master and balcony were it not for the plastic sheaths running down that part of the building. Horrible wind noises blowing against the plastic. But a lovely place to stay. Well kept grounds, good parking and very nice indoor and outdoor pool. The property had all the amenities needed to enjoy our vacation. The fishing was great off the dock and the kids loved the indoor pool for an evening swim. The pictures didn't tell the correct picture. It was better than the pictures ! The condo was beautiful. The beach was not crowded and it was very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it highly. We have stayed in Orange Beach area for over 20 years and this was by far the nicest and spacious condo for the money on the gulf. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family.
