We absolutely love the area. Phoenix Properties are our go to when we stay in OB and Gulf Shores. They are typically very well maintained. This property was nice, but it could use a little bit of TLC. The front door needs painted badly. I know that seems silly, but it gives a bad first impression. I was a little worried to see what the rest of the condo was going to look like, but was relieved to find out that that was the worst of. The shower curtain was a little moldy. These are both very minor things, and the overall condition of the condo was nice and clean. The location was great and the view from the balcony was wonderful. I gave the check-in process four stars, because the check-in instructions say in bold that you can check in AFTER 3pm. I feel like this is a little vague…Does that mean 3:30…4:00…5:30? Ultimately, our room was available at 4:30. Again, this is not a dealbreaker, but it was a little annoying after a 12 hour drive. It's close enough to the jetty that we're able to watch all the boats come and go out of the pass, plus being right on the beach we only have a short walk to the water! The kitchen is well equipped and cleaning tools (vacuum, broom/dust pan etc.) were there for use during our 2 month stay. Furniture was comfortable and the bed OK.
