This townhouse is tucked away from the street, nestled behind a dune, offering seclusion and tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. During the day, enjoy the sun and surf, then head into town for shopping and dining in the evening. For local fare, Tacky Jack\'s, a favorite restaurant, is just across the street by the marina. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans, dishes absolutely everything. Plenty of room for our family of 4, nice storage downstairs to store your beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Smart TV's in every room, nice for that one rainy day we had out of the week. The Balcony's were amazing to sit out on to watch the dolphins, star gaze at night or just to chill in the evenings. You are right on the beach, which is nice that you don't have to haul the chairs, coolers, etc. to far. The home has a little age on it but its totally comfortable, relaxing and SPOTLESS. All the bedding was super clean something Liquid Life promises and delivers. Also a plus the WIFI worked great, I know that is important to a lot of people. Fur babies are welcome on the beach, which is just 20 paces from the townhome. Spectacular views from all four balconies, which are huge! Modern kitchen has everything imaginable, including a stock pot we used for a low country boil. And if you don't feel like cooking, the marina, bar and restaurant across the street are easily walkable, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the fur babies are welcome on the outdoor deck of the restaurant. Just a few pointers: when starting the dishwasher, it needs to be closed immediately after pushing the start button in order for it to start, even though it is still rolling the text “Press Start”; if needing to reset the Internet, the modem is in the laundry room on the wall with the hall above everyone’s head and not visible without turning around in front of the washer and dryer—not near the living room tv; and, the oven cooks, much hotter on the top rack than the bottom rack, regardless of whether it is on convection. The kitchen was well stocked for a large group (plus there is an extra fridge downstairs). Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was really nice for a group our size. If you have people with mobility issues, this home is a great choice since the elevator goes from the ground floor to the main level (kitchen, family room and two bedrooms). My parents were able to get from their bedroom to the beach easily using the elevators. My kids enjoyed the video game/tv hang out area on the first floor. One thing to note is that the two of the beds are built into the wall on the 4th floor. They may be a little small for teens/adults to sleep two to a bed. We put little kids there, and it was great. The property management team messaged me back quickly regarding a couple of issues. I would say the WiFi was the only negative thing about our stay. It was intermittent the whole week (during storms and also when weather was good). It was generally ok for our purposes, but if you plan on working while you’re here, it might be an issue. It worked out perfectly for our whole family — all 3 generations. It’s right on the beach with access to a large, shared pool. We lucked out and stayed when the neighboring properties weren’t occupied and had the whole pool to ourselves all well. The house is recently renovated and well-stocked with all your cooking needs plus board games, puzzles, and beach toys for the kids. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom and TV. The home features about the most reliable WiFi you’re going to get on the gulf coast and the DirecTV was a nice amenity. It was very spacious and there was plenty of room for our family that has 8 adults and 4 children. I loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom. I would suggest to the owners that they purchase a dustpan. Even though we washed off after the beach, we still tracked in a good bit of sand. We swept, but didn't have a dustpan and each door has a lip on it. We had heard that sand is bad for a vacuum, so we didn't want to use it. Anyway, that's a very minor flaw and easily fixed. The kitchen is well-outfitted. We are big kitchen people who all like to cook, so that was important to us. It was great to have a pool and because of Covid, the management asked that you limit swim time so that others could enjoy the pool, so we were able to have the pool to ourselves most of the time. The only really bad thing is that we could never get the internet to work, so if you depend on that, you will probably be out of luck. They caution that they provide internet, but do not guarantee it. Thankfully, none of our crew had to have it the week we were there and used our phones when we did. We had an issue with a pipe and the management was very prompt to respond and sent someone out immediately to help us. Keep in mind that there are not any substantial-sized grocery stores nearby (there is a little grocery store very close, but it only carries the bare essentials), so just factor that in to your stay. We heard a neighbor say they used Shipt while they were there, so there's that option. All in all, it was a fantastic week and we would consider staying here again. - Fran T. Our group consisted of four adult couples and three children; it was nice for everyone to have their own bedroom and private bath. The views are magnificent and access to the beach is just a short walk. The pool was a nice feature even though we did not use it due to cool temperatures during our November stay. The elevator is a great asset to get items to the main floor. The management company was very easy to work with. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Checking in and out was easy and convenient. The property is showing a bit of wear and tear. Some of the kitchen drawers and cabinets are loose and coming apart. There was not a sharp knife to be had. The backside of drapes in the living room are tearing. There are quite a few scuff marks on walls. A number of lamps had bulbs that were burned out. One of the requirements for check out was to make sure all dishes were clean AND put away. In every other property we've stayed, it was customary to load the dishwasher and start the cycle. However having to wait for the dishwasher to finish so that we could unload and put them away the morning of check out was a bit of a hassle...especially with a $350 cleaning fee. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. We had plenty of room to watch the game in the main living room while the kids played video games (we brought the game system and games) downstairs in the mini-den. The view was breathtaking. The kids loved the pool but since it was limited to just the three homes (6 duplexes) it was not crowded. The house is a walk from the Sassy Bass which has the basics including some alcohol options, raw seafood and a hot bar. If you wish you can drive into town about 20 minutes for the chain stores. The huge benefit of being out some less people to share the beach. Plenty places to walk and bike. When we arrived we were amazed at how clean and well maintained the condition of the property was in. The number of bedrooms with connecting bathrooms and its open and spacious floor plan on the main floor is one reason we like renting Liberty. Its large enough to entertain but you can always find a nook to read, study or just have time away from everyone. We like being steps from the beach and pool. We also like this property because its pet friendly. The location is great too. The staff at Coastal Realty were very accommodating and very easy to work with. Their app was an added bonus which was very useful. The location is perfect for us. 5 miles from the ferry and 15 miles to the commercial district of Gulf Shores. We left the house once and that was to go make groceries. The rest of our time was spent on the beach or at the pool. Our evenings we enjoyed cocktails on the balcony, and playing card games at night. I was not ready to leave. It is a great location and the beach is beautiful. Our family also loved the pool and the surrounding grass area. We cooked at the house most nights but The Sassy Bass restaurant food was really good also. Our group especially liked the shrimp and grits. I would definitely recommend this property. A smoke alarm battery went out while we were there and a call to maintenance had someone out to fix it within about 15 minutes. The only problem was a dog the people had in the next-door area. It yapped a great deal of the time, and with the close proximity of the 2 units, it was very irritating at times - especially early in the morning. They tried to control the dog's barking some, but it didn't do much good, so we did have to put up with that. But other than that, it was great! - Karen P. The staff at Coastal were very nice and accommodating - we loved that the phone app had all the important information so we didn't have to call or try to find an answer to random questions. The view is amazing and you are literally right on the beach. Being able to bring our dogs was a blessing and with a special needs dog, we can't travel without her.
