Thankfully, we were able to check in early at 3 PM, but upon entering the condo, we noticed that the counters were full of sand. It was great! We didn’t have any serious issues with the condo. However… the sliding door (as mentioned in many posts) is incredibly difficult to open. I would have to get help from my teenage sons to open and close it. I’m surprised it hasn’t been addressed considering the number of comments on it. I also found it troubling that the code to the door never changes from one renter to the next. That’s not very secure and would be an easy fix to insure that your guests’ belongings are secure. Another issue is that the beach in front of the Enclave is shared with the Fairfield Marriott across the street. It was extremely crowded and not what we expected by choosing a not-so-high-rise condo. I purposely stayed away from the high rise condos for that very reason and was disappointed that we were elbow to elbow with other families. The condo was clean, very spacious and well stocked with all we needed. The location was perfect, right across from the walmart, yet right by the beach. The ocean view in the living room was in every direction! Such a relaxing weekend. The only complaint would be that two bedrooms have windows that face the breezeway, and there is a light that stays on all night. Some curtains or black out blinds would have been helpful. When we arrived the security man was delightful. 3 sliding glass doors for viewing the gulf. We saw dolphins morning noon and night! There was an ice maker for the wet bar that NEVER stopped making ice. Only 2 downfalls, the cleaning bucket was in the sink with nasty water when we arrived (easily remedied) and I would have loved a salt shaker with salt!
