Quiet, clean, easy beach access, lovely views, and we felt very secure. White Caps 601 was beautiful and very clean! It was well stocked with dishes for cooking including a blender, hand mixer, and mixing bowls even large pots and tongs to cook crabs after a day of crabbing. Of note: It could use more utensils and towels- “sleeps 10” should have a minimum of 10 forks, spoons and towels. We loved the corner property with balcony access from every room- it made for great views and beautiful light. Being located on the eastern side of the building was perfect for us to enjoy sunrises and not fight harsh evening heat while eating out on the balcony.The mattresses were comfortable for us and the ceiling fans in every room helped us customize temperature preferences. The bunk bed isn’t super sturdy, but my kids were fine on it. (When it comes time to replace I would recommend a queen bunk- full size doesn’t really sleep 2 very comfortably.) The fold-out couch bed was very typical with noticeable springs. It worked for our small children, but I wouldn’t have slept on it myself.My only issue with our stay was that our door access code got disabled an hour earlier than check out time resulting in our getting locked out- they were prompt to address the issue, but it was a bit of a stressor at the end of an otherwise perfect trip. - Kasi Posted on 7/13/2026 ### WC 601 White Caps 601 was a great condo, everything was as listed- no surprises. Liquid Life made check-in and check-out so easy. The details in this condo were excellent and kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The wet bar included a wine fridge and blender. The best feature of this condo was the balcony.. we never sat inside because the balcony was amazing! Sunrise from comfy chairs on balcony is a must. The outdoor pool is beautiful but not heated. The indoor pool/hot tub was nice. There is security on site and always felt safe. We also had security come to our door telling us that there was a complaint that we were smoking on our balcony. NONE of us smoke or have ever smoked! My in-laws would sit on the balcony throughout the day, but are not smokers. It really upset my in-laws. The laundry closet door was also not working correctly so it was not easy to open and close, it just needed adjusting but of course it required tools. There was also a missing TV remote in the master bedroom. We were able to use one of the other remotes. Other than that, the condo was beautiful. Every bedroom has direct access to the large, wrap-around balcony with 180-degree beach views. The decor is bright and modern, with comfortable furnishings and many thoughtful touches. We appreciated the large closets, dressers, and mirrors in the bedrooms and the many hooks for hats, jackets, and bags. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses for large groups, and up-to-date appliances for the perfect beach vacation. The full-size washer and dryer are a plus. There is even a minibar with a beverage cooler. The comfortable upholstered couch, swivel chairs, and lounge chairs on the balcony provide the perfect location for a lazy afternoon. We also enjoyed beach views and sunsets from the outdoor dining table. The Gulf Shores area provides plenty of activity options for all ages, but we especially loved Gulf State Park which offers 28 miles of paved bike paths. Bike rental services offer e-bikes, which can greatly increase your ability to see everything in this large park.
