Weekend Beach Trip

Are you planning a weekend trip to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama, but don't have a lot of time to spend? No problemo!

We know it's hard deciding how to spend your limited amount of time at the beach, so we've conducted a fun and practical itinerary for those planning 2 and 3 night vacations.

So we know you will be making that your priority too. But when the sun goes down or you need a lunch break, you're probably going to wonder where it is you should spend it. 

Friday Night- Arrive and get checked in to your vacation rental in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. 

After you explore your condo and get settled in, we reccomend having dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in Orange Beach.  Try Shipp's Harbor Grill or Cosmos for a fun and relaxing atmosphere that will have you feeling welcomed to paradise the second you walk in. After dinner, go back and relax on the balcony of your gorgeous condo rental, star gazing and day dreaming about what tomorrow will bring. 

Saturday- Wake up and smell the coffee. You're at the beach! Stretch out and open your eyes before heading to Another Broken Egg in Orange Beach for an incredible selection of breakfast items to suit everyone's breakfast preferences. There are SO many amazing breakfast restaurants in the area, but Another Broken Egg is our favorite when you can only choose one! 

Breakfast was amazing, so head back to your condo and put your swim suit on. It's time to sit back, relax and splash around!  Head down to the beach and rent yourself a comfy set of beach chairs from the beach service attendant, because who wants to carry all of that heavy equipment out to the beach... you're on VACATION! Chairs can be rented for an entire day at a super reasonable price, so take advantage of the convenience. After you get entirely too hot from sun bathing, take a dip in the luxurious pool at your condominium or dive into the irresistable Gulf of Mexico. 

Now it's lunch time and you're wondering where you can get some good food and great service in a cover up and sandy flip flops... Think no more! The Gulf is the perfect place for grabbing a delicious cheeseburger in paradise, refreshing drinks and fun for the whole family. The Gulf is located on a sandy corner of the most beautiful section of our beach, Perdido Pass. Watch the boats sail by, sink your toes in the sand and get some more sun while you enjoy an amazing lunch at Orange Beach's most popular hangout. 

Dinner again. YUM! Everyone loves eating out in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The list of places not to miss grows longer and longer each year, but we think your last night at the beach deserves to be special. You simply can not go wrong with spending the evening at Cobalt the restaurant in Orange Beach. We recommend dining on the patio at sunset for the most luxurious dining experiece on the island. 

Sunday- Spend the morning walking the beach, enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony or possibly even getting some more sun before packing up and heading home. Take in the memories that you created and enjoy the beauty that this glorious piece of paradise has to offer. You just had the best weekend ever!
