This condo was perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and if we needed anything, staff was responsive. Beach was beautiful and the condo is in a great location- away from the bulk of the crowd but close enough to restaurants and shopping areas. Would definitely recommend. *one thing to note regarding the beach chair policy- if you call the office, they will tell you that if you don’t rent their chairs and umbrellas, you have to setup your personal chairs/umbrellas behind the rented ones. However, we rented from them and there were plenty of people setting up their personal chairs/umbrellas in front of us. I personally still think it’s worth it to not have to carry everything down everyday but just something to take that into consideration when deciding what works best for you and your family.

Great location with all the amenities you need. Very roomy and quiet even with the 4th of July holiday. It is a rental and you can tell as it doesn’t have some of the personal touches but it had everything we needed and we will definitely stay again. It is starting to show it’s age but if you are looking for a nice place on the gulf you can’t beat it.

The condo was clean and the resort property was very well maintained and quite lovely. Their were a few issues with electrical plug outlets not working and light blubs blown. The guest bathtub/shower doors were not on track and didn't close properly. These issues were minor and the overall stay and the awesome view of the gulf outweighed them for sure. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Checking in was a bit complicated. After talking to the property manager, we got everything resolved. Property manager was very helpful, polite, and professional. The resort's main tower address is different from the "East Tower" building's address. The unit # is also slightly different than what was provided. Different access codes are given for security gates, elevator codes, and for the lockbox for keys -- which all led to info overload! They were very sweet and open to my suggestions that will hopefully make checking in easier for future guests. Aside from that, the condo was great! It was very clean (which can often be a challenge to find with a dog friendly unit). They clearly have high standards. View was awesome. My mother and I had a very relaxing vacation.

Very nice layout and all rooms were spacious. The area is nice with just enough restaurants and shops. A good type of family crowd. The condo is pet friendly but the beach isn't. Would've definitely preferred gas grills as opposed to charcoal.

We have been to this area several times since 2014. It’s a favorite vacation destination. This is by far the nicest condo we have stayed in. It’s large and very comfortably furnished. The ocean view is phenomenal.

The condo was so convenient for hanging out on the beach and coming back when we were hungry to cook. It was nice not to lug coolers. The beds were comfy. My only complaint/recommendation is to make sure you grab a cart before check out as early as you can. We had a lot of trouble because we never could get a cart.

It is decorated nicely and the living room furniture is comfortable with lots of seating for guest. The guest bedroom and bath can be closed off by a pocket door and offers extra privacy for late sleepers. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. It was VERY clean! The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, although a pair of scissors would have been nice. The balcony is large and we ate our meals out there. The beach is smaller than most so it was not such a long hike with our chairs, which was a nice change. The condo could use some TLC. There were some missing baseboards and chipped paint. Also the master bedroom could use a new mattress and a ceiling fan and the master bath some new tiles in the shower and a couple more towel racks. We also never figured out the TV. None of these things put a damper on our trip! We had a wonderful time. Our rental company was fantastic. When we had questions they were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely work with them again.

Unit E12C at Beach Colony in Perdido Key is without question one of the most beautiful condos we have ever rented. The new living room furniture, patio furniture, new master bedroom drapes and plush new carpet were all nice touches. The condo was immaculate and the kitchen very well equipped. Staying here for a week, we could really tell that the owner / management company are serious about keeping this place in top condition. We would recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a beautiful condo right on the beach. We had an extremely relaxing and comfortable week in this condo over the Christmas holiday. Hats off the the owner / management company for making this condo a destination that will remain on my radar for years to come. Well done!!

We got to condo about 5:30 Saturday and went upstairs to condo. We put in code in lock box by door and nothing happened, so we started trying to call numbers to see if someone could help us. It took about an hour until we finally go ahold of someone. A lady called us back and said to take something to try and pull button down. During this time my husband was trying to get it to open he moved some chairs and there was another lock box down on railing behind chairs. It was very time consuming and very confusing having two lock boxes. I would think most people would think the correct lock box would be next to door not down behind chairs on railing.

Beautiful and spacious condo with an amazing Gulf view. Very secure resort with codes needed to enter property, use elevators and to access the amenities and beach. Also has a dog park where well behaved dogs can run and play off leash. Just be careful though because some people refuse to pick up after their dogs even though bags and trash can are provided.

Gorgeous views, beautiful condo. We loved the security of the property. The only issue we had was that the key was very difficult to get in and out of the door lock. We let the management group know about it and they were going to let maintenance know about it.

We had an amazing view and the condo was equipped very well We had no problem picking up our key on Saturday even with the office closed. It would have been nice if the TV in the second bedroom had been a little larger! We did notice a larger one sitting in the master bedroom closet not sure what that was about! The lady we talked with in the office to register our pet was very nice and also the nice security guard lady. The pool was amazing and was large enough for everyone and the beach was absolutely beautiful! We are already talking about coming back next year. We loved Beach Colony East and we loved Perdido Key 😎 thanks also for letting us bring our fur baby.

We had a great stay at our condo! When we arrived, I was soooo.....amazed at the cleanliness of our room! The housekeeping was AWSOME! thank y’all so much! It was more less spotless & not one thing out of place down to the coffee cups sitting by the coffeemaker! The balcony was magnificent! As far as I could see looking all directions, we seen the ocean right there in front of us! If your looking for a clean, as close to the ocean & beach as you can get, you’ve found it here! All the fears/concerns of the difficulties with renting a condo are gone with Gulf2Beach condo rental through the Home Away website. Our Perdido Bay Condo was exactly as the photos showed online. No surprises and a very nice place. It was a smooth process and all the paperwork kept everything very transparent and easy. The condo was a perfect setup for dining in, and kitchen use, as well as visiting inside and out on the patio. Beautiful view! Would highly recommend it!!

Reviewer Comments: the condo was fine - a few issues that need to be done like cabinets in kitchen the face was peeling off- the bathroom need some tile work but condo was clean and furnished nicely. However the biggest issue was the Flora Bama - the traffic backs up so bad both coming and going to restaurants etc the wait is 15- 30 minutes to get through that area. That needs to be addressed by the businesses on the east of Flora BAma. The back up is awful!!very frustrarting

Thank you for review. We have a contractor going out to work on the cabinets, hopefully we will have ready quickly. The master bath shower has just been totally replaced and all new tile and been added. The traffic, unfortunately is out of our control. During the Fourth of July you will experience higher traffic than normal. It is our busiest week of the year. Hopefully you will come and visit with us again. The Gulf2BeachTeam

The unit was amazing. Very clean and large. The pictures don't do it justice. I haven't been so comfortable and at peace in s long time. The kitchen had everything to cook with as I cooked the entire time. Loved taking a shower with blinds open looking at the gulf. Amazing. The grounds were meticulously cared for. Over all my little man ( doggie) and I had a great get away. He loved the balcony and would take a nap every afternoon. The water was wonderful. I have all ready been looking for open dates to bring my grand children down to let them enjoy Beach Colony. 😎❤️😀

We loved the condo. It was perfect for our family of 4 + one dog. The view was awesome and the site had everything we needed. The management team was also wonderful. Perdido Key is laid back and a great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

This condo was great. Kitchen was nice and very well stocked. The view was amazing from the deck, master bedroom, and master bathroom. The resort was very nice and well kept. There are only four units on each floor. Even though there are many floors the elevators were quick to get up and down. The beach was very large with perfect white sand. (Beach chairs with umbrella were $30 to rent each day so would recommend bringing own beach chairs and umbrella) National Aviation Museum was only about 10-15 minutes away. Walmart, Target and other grocery stores 10 minutes as well. We had an issue when we arrived and had a quick response from the owners. The pool was great and we even took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub a few times. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area!

We read all of the previous reviews before booking but there is always a risk going somewhere new. But the description and reviews were spot on! This is a very spacious, beautifully decorated home. This was our second family trip to the Blue Dog at Beach Colony and once again, it met all of our expectations! It is beautiful, clean, quiet and has everything you need to get away. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by so you can choose to cook or not! I love sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean and just relaxing. The beach and pool are beautiful, just a quick trip down the elevator and we took advantage of both. The daughter loved of the workout room, so work or play, we were covered! The touches of Louisiana made us feel right at home. We love this condo and plan to visit again next year! Thanks to the great Gulf2Beach staff for making our vacation stress free! Lana G

This was our first stay at Beach a Colony and our first rental with the Gulf2beach team. If you are looking for a great property and for a rental team that is superb, then rent from these fine folks! The pictures of the condo don't do justice as the condo is really super! The views are incredible. The over all property is neat as a pin. We loved all the security codes! Only having four units to the floor was great. We will be recommending this unit and the Gulf2beach team to our friends and we will book with them again. We especially loved the New Orleans flair in the decor of the unit. We Aldo especially liked that this unit was a no pet condo. Beach access was easy. Pool was beautiful. We have nothing negative to say about the unit or Gulf2Beach.

My family and I absolutely loved staying here. The furniture was clean and very nice. The view was spectacular and the owners made it seamless and easy. Our extended family stayed in two other units in the building and this unit was by far the best of them all. Everyone commented on how great our place was compared to the units in which they were staying. We have stayed in other properties nearby and other units and this one was one of our all time favorites. The indoor pool is a huge plus and we loved being so close to the Gulf Islands National Seashore as it was a great place to walk/run everyday.

We stayed with the Blue Dog for 10 days this summer and had a fantastic time. The condo is spacious, bright and clean with comfy, cheerful furnishings. We loved all the original art in the main living areas. The condo had all the comforts of home and we especially enjoyed spending time out on the roomy balcony relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Gulf view. One nice feature is the pocket door that separates the guest bedroom and bathroom from the rest of the condo, so it’s sort of like a second master suite. Paula and Sundai were an absolute pleasure to work with and we will not hesitate to check with them first the next time we are planning a stay at Beach Colony.

Beach Colony in Perdido Key was wonderful. The view was excellent. This condo is very clean and well kept. We escaped after dealing with hurricane Isaac hit Louisiana and his condo had everything we needed. The space we had allowed us all to have personal time. The owners were very pleasant and friendly to deal with. They made our check in and out hassle free. Can't wait to return.

We have always been huge fans of this resort and have seen great and bad condo's; this however, was one of the best one's we have stayed in. This condo was fully equipped, very clean and ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The owners of this condo did a great job and made it feel like your home away from home. There was one thing that was a donwside and it was the condo had no blender. However, the stay was amazing and I can't wait until next year to rebook this condo! I brought my daughter and 3 friends here for a weekend trip. The double beds made it perfect accomodations allowing me to have privacy while the teenagers had theirs. The condo provides security for elevators and outdoor gates, etc. which was nice. It was furnished and equipped very well. Grocery store was very close. We had a great time and the beach was beautiful!

The location of the property is very easy to access and is close to local shopping and good dining options. We liked the Crab Trap. The Condo was in perfect condition and looked exactly like the photos that are posted. We really enjoyed the local flare of the owners decorations. After we picked up the keys to the condo we called the owner about a few questions. She was extremely helpful and willing to do whatever necessary to make our stay a memorable one...Kudos. We will be staying here again, and are already starting to plan next year's trip. Thank you again to Paula for making our stay so wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo even though Tropical Depression Lee soaked us :) The indoor pool in the complex was a life saver! The condo was very clean and provided all of the necessities that we needed. Beautiful beach view from the huge patio. The owners were super nice and very helpful. We will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Colony. Perdido Key has always been a favorite destination of ours and we would definitely return to Beach Colony. This condo was clean, spacious, and included free wi-fi. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The balcony afforded a fantastic view of the beach and the pool. Steve and Paula were extremely easy to deal with.
