Beach Village Resort BVR55 | Cast Away

We absolutely loved our stay. The amenities inside the condo were top tier. It was very clean, and communication leading up to our stay was some of the best we've experienced. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. A few minor things I should mention, however. The water pressure in the showers was poor, and likely the worst I've experienced, even counting hotel stays. Hopefully that's something that can be improved for future guests. On cold days, the downstairs is around 8 degrees cooler than the heat setting. One particularly chilly mornings (30s/40s), we had to set the heat to 76 upstairs just to feel comfortable on the main floor. Even then it was chilly. (In Wisconsin where we live, we typically set it to 72.) We couldn't get the ceiling fan on the first floor to work, and had hoped to direct some of the heat downward from the vents in the ceiling. (Tried the chain, multiple light switches, etc.) Finally, a small chair on the front porch sure would be nice. While it's a smaller porch than the other units, it was the only porch without one. We would have used it a lot had there been one. Again, to our minds, these were minor things, but we wanted to mention them. Oh, and wow, we LOVED being so close to the trails behind the units. Nice property inside a gated cottage resort. The resort is beauty and well keep. Many amenities come with being in this resort. Pool with slide and lazy river, daily resort activities by the pool including live music , games and other fun things. Nice and polite people everywhere. Nice and reponsive staff. Easy checkin and out. Reasonable price. Definitely will consider stay here again. Beautiful decorated cottage with modern house amenities. Comfortable spacious design.

We had an amazing vacation! From the day we booked our stay until the day we left, we were well informed about everything this place had to offer! We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in that the home looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was VERY clean and well taken care of. The entire resort was well maintained and offered extra fun things for our kids to do. Movies nights by the pool, board games and donuts, crafts, etc. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed right on site! We have already recommended this place to multiple friends and we can’t wait to go back again next year!

We stayed in Casita 55. It was smaller than all the rest but it was perfect for our family of 5 and on thr end so somewhat private. Kitchen was beautiful and beds were comfy. Lots of steps, so if you have problems with stairs, it's not the place for you. Loved the beachy vibe. Courtesy jeep dropped you off across the street at beach entrance. Did yoga on Wed, donuts & coffee by pool on Tuesday, pool was heated perfectly. Wish there were a hot tub, that would be perfect. Location was great. quick drive to stores and Gulf Shores. Will definitely stay again.

Had a great time. Love the shuttle to and from the beach, property managers super responsive. Door was keyless entry which was nice. Door handle needs some maintenance work. Rooms, beds, and bathrooms were excellent and everyone slept well. Seemed like there was a water softener added and water pressure was a little lower than preferred but a non issue. My dad appreciated the air vent above the bed in master bedroom lol

This home is absolutely beautiful. It was in close walking distance to the beach, the pool and lazy river were amazing, and we absolutely loved the house and village. The location was great! We brought our bikes. We will definitely be coming back.

My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BVR. Our house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. We loved how the property connected to the Gulf State Park; we walked and biked several times during our stay. The pool area was stunning. The fire pit area and many outdoor lounging options were a plus. We will definitely be returning.

The house was beautiful and spotless. The walk to the beach was less then five minutes, and we really appreciated the private entrance for the villages; we never once encountered any issues of riff raff on the beach, or getting a good spot. The pool and amenities really elevated the stay, our 6 y/o daughter LOVED the water slide. We’re looking to make this an annual vacay spot!
