Good property, only downfall was the elevator as it seemed to need some renovation. It was kind of jerking and took a second to settle at the end of the lift or lower.

There were 7 of us and plenty of room. Loved the small size of the complex. Easy parking for loading and unloading. Easy check in and check out process. Loved the separate ice maker. Only complaint was cofee maker had to be plugged in and unplugged to turn off and on because power button was broken and no sheets or blanket for sofa bed were found but overall great condo.

Perfect view & beach access! The ice maker was a plus! There is an area of railing outside with ratchet straps on it which was a bit scary with kids & the elevator permit was expired. Regarless great place!

I’ve stayed in dozens of beach condos over the years and this was the absolute best one. The Condo is huge! With three adults and a child, it was more home than we needed but it was nice to have the extra space. Three families (with small children) could easily stay there comfortably. The balcony was so nice and the views are even better. The Unit was beyond clean. The bathtubs sparked! The linens and mattresses were top notch. I was impressed considering it was a rental property. Check-in and Check-out was easy peasy. The Unit entrance is directly in front of the elevator which makes it easy to get in and out. Since there are only 14 units, elevator waits are short if at all. That’s a major downside to staying in a high rise. The location is great. You’re mere blocks up to two miles from all the hotspots. All in all we had an amazing experience. I would definitely stay there again. P.S. the ice machine was a major plus!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay! CDS D2 was clean and roomy with plenty of seating inside and out. Large deck and short walk to our beach chairs, which we liked! The pool was a good size and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped but take a few dishtowels/cloths. Many rentals do not have an adequate supply. Everyone said their beds were comfy; however, I stayed in non-master BR w/King bed and the mattress was SUPER firm. Not comfortable to me. I recommend replacing or adding a thick foam pad which someone can remove if they prefer sleeping on a hard surface. The bed thing is not a dealbreaker and we unanimously agreed that we want to rent this unit again. Lastly, first time I've stayed at a low-density complex...YES!!

The stove and oven breaker was turned off, we turned it back on and were able to use the oven but the stovetop wouldn't work. We turned in a maintenance request and he came but said parts had to be ordered. So we couldn't use the stove top throughout our stay. Also, the mattress in the master bedroom is very noisy, you can't move at all without noise, it needs to be replaced.

We loved our stay at casa del sol. It was right on the beach with a pool right below us. Very close to several restaurants. We had a little trouble with the TVs and we found things left behind by prior clients as well by the cleaning crew. The outside porch light and above kitchen sink light did not work. However, none of these things hindered us from having a good time and sleeping well! We will be back!

Staff was very helpful and responsive. There were a few small downsides. The dryer does not dry well, so you have to run everything through twice; the remote in the living room didn't work; WiFi was very slow; the master bath needs to be updated; it's a little dark in the hall; and the ceiling fan in the master bath works but doesn't move any air 🤨. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again. The location, space, and overall experience outweighs the small stuff.

Basic needs were met besides not having1 single hand soap or bar of soap in entire condo, there is 1 single dish towel for the entire kitchen and we could not figure out how to turn the back bedroom fan on. Took us 2 days of messing with it but could not get anyone to help out after reaching out 5 times. We thought it was broken but finally figured out how to turn it on. Besides those minor inconveniences it was fine.

We used the kitchen for 75% of our meals. The building is dated, but our unit was clean and comfortable. Any issues we reported were corrected the same day. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the balcony off the bedroom and living room. The sound of the ocean was sweet. The low rise was perfect, no issues w elevator, easy access to beach/pool. Unit was spacious, clean, and had a cute beachy vibe. Close to restaurants and shops.

Only complaint is that the internet speed was about 1-2 Mb/s, which isn't really enough to stream video. Not a dealbreaker, but would have loved to have been able to catch up on my shows on the balcony on my iPad in the evenings. Check in process was fabulous...probably the best I've ever experienced. Location was great, beach was gorgeous, unit was spacious and clean. Overall a wonderful experience.
