Crystal Shores West 808

This property is our all-time favorite property and location in Gulf Shores. Liquid Life were wonderful to work with and were able to help us extend our stay two extra days! We will definitely be back and will rent this unit again!

This place is amazing, we had a great vacation. The place was very clean, check in was so easy and everyone was really nice. The maintenance guy, I didn't get his name, but he was awesome he made sure while we were at the pool we had everything we needed and made sure to turn the fountains on for the full effect for the kids. Everything you needed was there and available. Plus it is convenient to ask the shops and also a hassle free walk to the beach. We will definitely be back next year.

We stay at Crystal Shores West every September for 10-12 days. This has been our favorite condo yet! Very nice unit, clean, had all the kitchen items we needed (air fryer would be a nice addition). The best part of this condo, is the balcony! Being on the 8th floor and on the West end of the building is perfect. Amazing view of the coast, and the sunsets each night can’t be beat. It also has a great assortment of balcony furniture - love the high top chairs and table. We plan to use this condo again!

Everything was wonderful! It was a great location. The airport was very easy to get to and the restaurants were all really good. We will definitely love to come back. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, especially at the Publix grocery store.

We really loved this place. The view is just absolutely stunning! That alone made this place worth it. It was spacious enough for all 8 of us - inside and out on the patio. The amenities were great. We were within in walking distance or just a short drive to everything. Highly recommend this place! We will be back.

This property is exactly as described in the listing! The balcony view is amazing, wrap around balcony! Accommodations were on point! The only downfall was elevators, they were super slow and broke down a couple times but were repaired fairly quickly. The balcony only had 3 chairs so that was a minor issue but all in all it was great! Definitely would stay there again!!!

Condo unit itself was very pleasing but did need several repairs which did not interfere with our stay. Initial rental information was very inaccurate upon inquiry. An additional $119 was added to our bill because we went through VRBO. We were not told or informed that fee was part of our bill. Each time l inquired about our statement, a different sum was quoted. Four different totals were given with four inquiries. Other than that setback, we enjoyed our stay very much.

This condo was very centrally located. Lots of parking and loved the pool. Check in and out were easy. They even let us into our condo early. Great view of the ocean with a large patio. Super hot water so everyone can shower after the beach, and a large pantry and front closet for supplies. Definitely needs new patio furniture, but i reach out to office management to let them know of the issue. This was our best stay at Gulf Shores and we go annually.

Property was great; exactly as described and well appointed. Cannot beat the location - right on the beach and close to restaurants. Communication with Liquid Life (management co.) was seamless. No issues with elevators and appreciated the luggage carts for quick move in / move out. View was incredible from balcony. Only tip - bring extra blankets as the AC is ice cold and bedding comforters are extremely light. Overall, great condo and we had a wonderful week

We were recommended this location by a friend who stayed here last year. The inside was clean, the communication from Liquid Life was pretty great (minus getting the wrong activity code on day 1- but quickly fixed) and we loved our view!A couple things-The dryer pumps out into the hallway- which means this end of the hallway is littered with lint and hot/humid- maybe a good cleaning of the vents would help this. Some of the furnishings (drawers in bedroom furniture), towel rack in master bath, and the fridge no longer work properly- probably could use some updating, tightening or replacement. Not a huge issue- just something to be aware of.Make sure to bring extra towels- Liquid Life tells you this, but we ended up needing more towels for the kitchen and bathrooms than were originally provided.Be prepared for busy times on the elevator- mornings mostly. But once you are on it, it moves quick! Overall- it was perfect for our spring break vacation! We would definitely go back if we come back again!

With 3 bedrooms (each with a tv) and 3 bathrooms we had a vast amount of room and everyone had adequate personal space. The amenities were also fantastic. We could enjoy the beach during the day, and then would hit the pool and hot tub in the evening. Being and end unit, we had a large patio overlooking the beach, and were treated to dolphins every morning just after sunrise. The check-in and check-out process was the easiest we've ever had. Everything was just great about this condo! Being up on the 8th floor the breeze kept us comfortable out on the balcony day and nigh! Nice beach access, great pool & hot tub ammenities! Well furnished kitchen with regular & crushed ice! We were close to the hot spots and really enjoyed our stay! Had 1 minor clog in the diposal and it was literally fixed within an hour of the text. Great responsive team to text with any questions! I have already recommended to my friends! A real gem! Also pretty quiet! You can go wrong with this lovely corner unit! Sunrise & sunsets from a wrap around balvony were stunning!

Property needs a little maintenance. The toilet in the master had the water shut off because of a leak that hadn't been fixed, the light above the shower was falling out, and closet doors in the second 2 bathrooms weren't on the tracks very well, and the refrigerator doesn't work well. We had to leave some food and drinks in coolers because the fridge wouldn't cool. But we rented this place for the beach and that was fantastic.

We did have issues with the fire alarms going off all week because they were being tested or worked on. Our baby didn't get much sleep due to that fact. A couple more issues we had was the 30 minute wait for an elevator on most days. The other issue I personally had was the gym was very tiny. I'm one who likes to continue workouts even on vacation and I couldn't do that some days because of the smallness of the gym and multiple people in there.

Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay booking through Liquid Life, and our second stay at this same condo, with another stay already booked through Liquid Life for another unit in this building in 2 months! Everything was so wonderful, even the weather was gorgeous even with a Tropical Depression rolling through during the beginning of our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean upon arrival. This unit provides wonderful views of the sunsets, so we love the building location as well as the unit location. It's close to so many delicious food places that we hit every night, like the Sunliner Diner, Bahama Bob's, Island Ice Cream, The Beach House Kitchen & Cocktails, the Original Oyster House, Hog Wild BBQ, Sea N Suds, and BeachZone Ice Cream. We love this condo and love going through Liquid Life. The one and only issue we experienced was on Friday morning our door code stopped working even though we weren't checking out until Saturday. I emailed Liquid Life as noted for best help, and we had a new door code and everything was fixed within minutes. I highly recommend Crystal Shores West and Liquid Life!

It is so close to the Gulf with wonderful white sandy beaches. Very close to many good eating places. There is a nice outdoor pool and smaller indoor pool, plus a hot tub outside and an exercise room that I used. I gave one question a 4 because both elevators stopped working around 5 pm one day. I called the onsite property managers and when we got up the next day they were fixed. I don't know how long they were out. Overall, I would recommend this condo and our unit especially.

Location, location, location! This condo was fantastic! The location right on the beach was perfect and the beach had amazing sand! The location of the condo on the corner of the building was fantastic! The views from all sides of the condo were much enjoyed. Having 3 bedrooms plus a 3rd bathroom was an absolute perk and perfect for our needs. We saw dolphins, sting rays and even a shark right from the balcony! Definitely enjoyed our stay! We did not have a hair dryer in this unit which was an inconvenience and we were disappointed by the fact that they do not have recycling. Pool hours were not as advertised but I didn't get a response when I asked what the hours were. We did go to the pool once and the temperature was very nice and warm indoors. The condition of the pool area was deteriorating (missing bricks, loose blocks) and could definitely use some attention. We are not used to condo type living so had some trouble sleeping due to noise from upstairs and outside. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again!

Beautiful view!!! I won't stay anywhere that doesn't have a great view, and this place with the corner balcony was amazing!!! Sunrises and sunsets! We will definitely stay here again. Hurricane Ida had just come through, and they had the pool cleaned and ready to go quickly. Great location.

This unit was beautiful! When we first stepped in the door my 12-year-old stepson literally squealed with delight! Honestly, I “squealed” too. The views truly were amazing. I began each morning on the balcony, sipping my coffee and watching the dolphins. I saw dolphins multiple times every day—which made my heart happy. We were on the beach every day, found some good places to eat not far from our place and had a week of pure relaxation. I highly recommend this place and we started planning our return on the trip home.

I simply loved this condo! It was perfect for our party of 6. The wrap around balcony was everything. The view is breathtaking and the sounds of the wave was the most calming thing after a fun day in the city. The condo is near tasty restaurants and located in the heart of all the fun. Overall the stay was excellent the only issue was having one elevator working, but it seems as if with the last hurricane a lot of condos in Gulf Shores are running on one elevator.

Our stay was amazing! The condo itself was PERFECT for us. Extremely clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and updated. The only 2 complaints I have is the ice maker in the fridge didn’t work well, and the building only had 1 elevator working. The fridge is so minor, but the elevator was horrendous. A couple times it would take up to 20-30 mins to be able to get on an elevator. Overall though, would totally book this room again! Until next time Gulf Shores!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! The only real setbacks were the lack of communication with check in information. I did not recieve check in info and had to call for it and the other was that we stayed on the 8th floor, and they only had ONE working elevator! This was a challenge because the elevator is SLOW and old. We were told by one of the owners that the elevators have been that way for nearly three years! Other than that, we loved the condo and it was the perfect size for seven people! The beach could not be closer and the location of the condo is perfect!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The location is right on the beach - and getting to the shore is a breeze! With windows on three sides, there is so much natural light. The wraparound balcony and the huge south and west facing windows make for magnificent views morning and night. The condo had plenty of towels, pillows and everything we needed to do some cooking. There is tons of storage space, even in the room with the washer/dryer. The one downside is that the condo building only has two elevators serving 14+ floors (plus parking levels). But all the pluses (including location) outweighed that inconvenience. We definitely hope to be back!

Great setup for a Family! 3BR 3Bath is unusual for a condo, but is sooo awesome! Master Bed w/crack in the patio door to sleep to the sound of the waves was the most comfortable restful sleep I’ve had in months!! We will definitely return!!!

Everything was just awesome. We would rent this condo again if we come back to Gulf Shores. We had 3 kids under 7 and 3 adults. Having bedrooms and bathrooms for each of us was so important. We could not have found a more perfect place to rent.

The beds were comfortable. The condo was perfect for my two boys of 5 and 3, my boyfriend, nanny, and myself. I liked that each room had their own bathroom and VIEW! The pool and beach were just a quick elevator ride away. Shopping and food were close by. The only thing with property that could use some improvement was the parking garage, tight spaces and no rhyme or reason to numbers for spaces. Loved it and hope to stay in this condo again.

Our stay at 808 Crystal Shores West was truly outstanding! The 3BR/3BA condo completely met and exceeded all of our expectations! The things I would have changed about our unit were a) how high up our floor was. Obviously 808 is on the eighth floor, but there are 4 floors of parking garage below the first unit floor, which means you are actually 12 stories up. This isn't at all on the owners as I knew we were high up when I rented the location. Next time I would like to be a bit closer to the ground floor. b) The internet is very, VERY slow, but I believe that is probably just the nature of the beast when dealing with a property like this. It was too slow to stream any video on-demand service (i.e. Netflix, Amazon, etc...), but who is really concerned with internet speeds when you are on the beach? c) Finally it was a bit of a challenge to find where our reserved parking spot was in the garage. The garage numbers don't seem to have any order and seem just jumbled up and random. Once we finally did find our spot, we were disappointed to find out that they were doing some maintenance to the pipes in the building and we couldn't use that floor of the garage during our week long stay. Overall the condo was very clean and had everything we possibly needed for our summer vacation. We will be going back to Gulf Shores in the near future and will most likely try to stay with a very similar unit, and have even talked about possibly purchasing a unit ourselves. Had a great time! This condo had everything we needed and more (even a couple of extra sand chairs and sand tools in the closet). We would definitely say here again. One tub drain and one sink drain were very slow draining. Loved the wrap around balcony and the view was awesome!!
