This place was amazing right on the beach across the road from amazing little restaurant called Lauria’s. Also very close to daiquiris and mimosas. The pool was very nice and the condo could have fit 10 people easily.

Our group of 6 adults enjoyed the place, especially the views. It would have been nice to have the indoor pool heated as it was cold everytime we checked it and the outdoor bathrooms by the pool were locked so we had to run back to the room to use the restroom of we were at the beach. Overall, it was nice and we would stay again.

The cabin was perfecr for us. Very big for 2 people. Very close to Wears Valley which is the cutest town! Only thing i wish we could have changed was the water pressure but it was something we can deal with when it comes to this amazing cabin and amazing views.

Wonderful property, very beautiful view and tons of amenities, didn’t have to make last minute trips to buy a pizza cutter or pans because they were provided. Only thing is to be careful going up the driveway, as it’s very steep. Also super close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!

This was a wonderful place for 2-3 people. The drive way is steep but very manageable. The cabin is very secluded from everyone else. There is a slight bit of road noise. The owner was very accommodating . When I had concern they fixed it quickly! Their response time is very timely. We will be staying again!

We enjoyed our stay here at Cove Creek Overlook so much! The cabin and property was beautiful and immaculate. We had everything we needed inside the cabin for cooking, etc. We spent our days hiking in the Smoky Mountains and our evenings winding down in the hot tub. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jim was very responsive to any questions or needs that we had. We are already planning a return trip to the Smokies next year and plan to try and stay here again!

I was skeptical about vacation rentals but this trip really blew me away. The cabin is just as cozy and gorgeous if not more in person. Huge props to the cleaning team because the cabin was so neat and inviting. I was really surprised by all the cooking utensils, pots pans etc. provided so my partner and I could make the romantic dinner we were planning. The hot tub is nicely out of view from any neighbors and provides a decent sunset view. There’s no exaggeration about how close it is to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg either. This cabin was truly a dream and if you’re thinking about it, go for it! The only downside was the extremely steep hill to get to the cabin, so check your tires and be warned!

My husband and I were in dire need of a weekend getaway and this place suited all of our needs. We were in close proximity to the Gatlinburg strip where there are tons of entertainment as well as Pigeon Forge shopping areas. We mostly stayed in the hot tub all weekend though and found the atmosphere very relaxing. The house was very clean upon arrival and having the linens/towels/trashbags/etc included made the trip even more convenient for a long weekend getaway. The property has a "bedroom/livingarea" upstairs however we only went up there once to look at the view from the balcony. The only thing that could have made this place better was possibly turning the upstairs room into a game area such as a pool table or air hockey table or even a card/chess table. Overall, we were very happy with the property and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a couple getaway.

This is the best cabin for a couple that wants to get away for the weekend or vacation. We will be bringing our children here next time for sure! The location was perfect and close to attractions and a ton of dining options. The cabin was very clean, had everything you would need, plus some and the hot tub worked great. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The location was close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet far enough off the path to be secluded. Both decks had an amazing view and the river running through the property was wonderful to listen to while drinking our morning coffee outside. The house had everything we needed to stay in and cook, minus food and spices of course. Like stated in the listing the driveway is pretty steep, but once you do it a few times its no big deal. I would highly recommended staying here, whether it be for a weekend away, anniversary or honeymoon. If we end up back in Tennesee again without our kids, it will definitely be our first choice!

There should have been more in the description about how steep of a climb just to get to the property, not all vehicles would have been able to make that steep grade. Also, owners asked for credit card information that VRBO already has. This did not feel right, but owner was very nice and the place was well kept and clean. Hot tub was a nice touch!

Hello, I am glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. We work very hard to provide fairly priced, clean, and comfortable accommodations for our guests. I suppose I could have described the driveway as "so steep you'll kiss your own backside on the way up." However, I think that would have been a bit over the top as there are certainly steeper driveways among the thousands of rentals in our Smoky Mountain area. I do say in the description that the driveway is not for the faint of heart. I do provide pictures of the driveway in the VRBO listing. There are also reviews that mention the steepness of the driveway. After all, it is a mountain cabin… in the mountains. After a quick count, I have had approximately 205 reservations that have come and gone over the past two-and-a-half years and not one of those reservations has failed to make it to the cabin because their vehicle couldn't navigate the driveway. As far as the request for information is concerned, VRBO does not share all of the renter's information with the property owner. We have to specifically ask the guest to provide the missing information. For this reason, as stated in the House Rules of the rental listing on VRBO, all guests are required to provide the home owner with a physical mailing address and a valid credit card number in addition to a damage deposit. Guests are also required to complete and return the rental agreement provided to them by Smoky Mountain Vacation Rentals. If someone isn't prepared to do this, then they need find alternative accommodations. If I am prepared to trust you with my home, then you as a guest need to be prepared to trust me with your booking information. It's nothing that wouldn't be required to book almost any hotel room in the same Smoky Mountain area. Alternatively, we could charge a Property Damage Protection fee to the tune of anywhere between $59 and $119, but that doesn’t go into my pocket, so I’d prefer not to have it taken out of yours. In closing, I would like to add that we do appreciate you choosing to spend your hard earned vacation dollars with us. However, since this stay began with and ended with an accusatory attitude, we would encourage you to choose somewhere less mountainous for your next visit to our area.

This cabin was a great little spot for a honeymoon getaway! Even with a couple surrounding cabins, the privacy was spectacular, and we felt like we were the only ones at the top of the mountain. The cabin is secluded but also close enough to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and the state park. The driveway is very steep, but we knew this before booking. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place and setting for my Wife and I to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Offered complete privacy, and was just the way it appeared in the listing. The steep driveway some people complain about, put us at the top of the hill, overlooking everything else, including a beautiful creek. Those that want a more flat driveway, might want to consider going to the beach instead of the mountains. We give it a 5+ star rating because it was perfect for what my wife and I were looking for.

I can’t think of one negative thing about this property. Everything was as expected. Views were breathtaking. Cabin was clean, stocked with everything you need, hot water, plenty towels, hot tub was perfect in the colder nights, and although not fully secluded it was a very private location. And my opinion on the drive way….cool as heck! Everyone complained about the driveway that I seen and for two week my 4cyl car drove up and down 100 times rain and all with no problems. If you don’t like hills vacation in Florida. Other than that 100% recommended to anyone and will be back again!

I brought my girlfriend to the mountains and stayed here for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing. The cabin was spotless when we got inside, so props to the cleaning folks, I left them a little tip for how nice it all was. The cabin was exactly as pictured and all the christmas decorations were a lovely little touch. Resting in the hot tub while listening to the rain coming down on the metal roof while the creek flowed down the hillside from us was magical. If I could live there forever I'd be in heaven!

Absolutely loved the isolation, back balcony and river view! This was an escape from civilization for us! The cabin was perfect for my wife and I, but we did laugh at all the decorator pillows on beds and couches (20 total). Still, I do have to admit that they looked very nice. On Thursday we had a black bear visit in the front yard near our car, along with three very young cubs. We stayed safely on the front deck just a few steps from the cabin door while taking pictures. My wife appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and very clean cabin. Overall, we were very, very happy with the cabin and had a very restful and enjoyable time!! Thanks so very, very much!!! My husband and I have stayed at several places while in the Smokey’s. We chose this location because it had a outdoor hot tub and indoor jacuzzi. We also love the sound of water so the creek below made this property our choice. The place was spotless and as advertised. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware and utensils. The driveway was steep but very doable. We didn’t mind it at all and it made the place very secluded. We would definitely rent again.

It took my breath away. It was tucked in a private spot overlooking the most beautiful view of the creek. It was an amazing feeling falling and waking up to the sound of the creek. I came here with my husband to get away to a romantic weekend. I stayed 4 days and 3 nights and I made the most of it. This spot was so unique, that my husband and I took full advantage of the cabin. Hot tub in the night sky was amazing and the Jacuzzi in the bedroom was just relaxing,. The view from every room was gorgeous. We took advantage of the many amenities provided and enjoyed the fireplace, the grill and the bon fire. I truly soaked it all in and it was an over all a great experience. This is a must to see and must do for romantic couples. I visited in April. No bugs, no flies lol

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it! The cabin has a very cozy feel and the location is beautiful. We loved sitting out in the hot tub or on the porch to listen to the creek down below. We also love that it was a good distance away from neighbors. The driveway was definitely steep but after our first try going up the smoother part of the split driveway, it was easy! The hand towels were folded to look cute, which I appreciated. There were also plenty of towels available to use. You can hear the creek off the back porches which is nice. There were only a few things that concerned me. First is the driveway is extremely steep, so if it freezes or snows it’s difficult to get up. Second is the upstairs toilet seat is chipped and needs to be replaced so it doesn’t cut anyone. Lastly is the tub in the bedroom is a little overkill considering you can’t get enough hot water to get the bath full. The housekeeping also needs to pay more attention to dusting and baseboard cleaning.

Hello, thank you for bringing these items to my attention. Yes, the driveway is steep. That is why I make reference to it in the very first sentence of the description paragraph. Also, there is a photograph included with the cabin pictures. There isn't much more I can do than that. I have replaced the upstairs toilet seat with a nice, plastic version and discarded the wooden seat. Lastly, I did check the baseboards. Other than an understandably dusty spot or two behind heavy furniture, I was quite impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. Dust is always a challenge, especially if the cabin is vacant a few days before check in. Again, I do appreciate your stay and hope you visit or area again.

The property was nice, but the description should include the steepness of the driveway and how small of a turn around spot there was. We were snowed in the first night with no power or heat and had to leave to get a hotel room the remainder of our stay. We were only able to stay in the cabin one night and one day, and only received a refund for one night. So the trip cost us the majority of the cabin rental plus hotel room cost for 4 nights.

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for 2 people. The hot tub worked perfectly! Great view outside on the porch of the little creek below. The tvs had access to Netflix, Amazon prime, and more. The bed was comfortable! Everything in the kitchen worked perfectly and all cooking ware/utensils were provided. Everything was SUPER clean. One of the cleanest cabins ive ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in about 20. The price is also a great deal for the quality, size, and location of this cabin. The location was just far enough away from everything to still feel cozy and secluded, but a short drive from everything you need. It’s honestly the perfect location. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the driveway takes some getting used to because of the steepness. We drove a Nissan Altima and worried the first couple of times that we were losing traction. Once we got used to it it wasn’t so bad though. We probably wouldn’t want to stay in this cabin during snowy weather for that reason ONLY. But we will definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved the cabin, was everything we were looking for. The view is fantastic, overlooking a beautiful river. Driveway is not bad as it looks, we were even able to turn around at the top and take the less steep way down as well, and we have an SUV (we are from southwest Virginia though). Overall VERY highly recommend by us and will likely be a cabin we return to on future trips years to come.

Loved this property and the location. Did not particularly enjoy trying to get on and off the main road though. Thank goodness they had a mirror to use! Property was well taken care of and very comfortable. Grill was great, loved the chairs on the decks. The creek was really flowing while we were there due to the rain. Bed was comfy too. Adorable cabin within 15 minutes of all Pigeon Forge has to offer. The property itself was peaceful and comfortable. Just a word of caution that as others have noted- the driveway is steep. Our accord struggled the first time. I would suggest a SUV.

My husband and I were in Pigeon Forge for a wedding on Thursday night, so we stayed at Cove Creek Overlook through Saturday morning. The cabin was very well kept and so cute! The view is incredible off either of the two porches, especially when looking out from the hot tub! The property owner/manager was very informative and easy to reach if we had any questions. They gave us very clear instructions on what was required upon arrival and departure as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice little getaway.

The property owner was correct, driveway was a bit steep but hubby got our Honda Accord right up it. Cabin was clean. Both hot tub and jacuzzi were wonderful. There's a stream right outside and the view was wonderful. When we took the hot tub cover off, we saw that a large cat had visited us in the night. It's location is just right for easy access to Pigeon Forge and the other cities around. Would definitely use this cabin again.

My husband and I stayed here as a delayed honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. Of course, as people who don’t live in the mountains the driveway was intimidating and took the first time to get the hang of it, but we drove a van and it was fine. The cabin is fully stocked and equipped with all essentials, the hot tub above the creek was beautiful, the bed was firm and comfy, plenty of pillows, the couch was great. We didn’t even go upstairs but to check it out. We traveled alone but if we wanted a group activity this would be good as well, overall it was perfect. We found ourselves out on the town saying to each other “I can’t wait to go back to the cabin”. Really enjoyed the stay and appreciated all the thought the owner put into this facility. We will be saving this location for future visits.

Me and and my wife booked for Valentine day. Everything was gorgeous! From the view to the cleanliness! Stores not to far away, but just far enough to give you your privacy. I absolutely adored this cabin! It was so cute and cozy perfect for our anniversary getaway. I loved the view and the little creek below was all so breathtaking. I definitely recommend this cabin for your next trip to Pigeon Forge!!!

I personally loved the trek up the driveway and the location of the cabin. Hottub was malfunctioning and would not stay warm but that was not an issue as these things happen. The cabin was perfect and evenything we could have asked for. the bed was comfortable and everything else worked as it should. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes being away from other people when they're vacationing

My friend and I stayed here two nights and enjoyed the location of the cabin as it was close to restaurants and activities, but far enough to feel like you're secluded. Listening to the creek on the deck was so relaxing. The driveway to the cabin is a bit steep so I'd definitely recommend an SUV or truck. Overall a great getaway for two.

The housekeeper drives a Honda Odyssey mini van and doesn't have any problem navigating the driveway. I also drive a four door Chevy pickup truck. What we do is back down the driveway until we are able to turn left and go down the second portion of the driveway. We haven't had any trouble so for. Thank you for your stay.

We stayed over a weekend at this cabin. It’s a beautiful cabin, large walk around porch with a gorgeous view of the creek below. You can hear the running creek water from the bedroom (and lots of animals outside—scared me the first night!). Very close to Pigeon Forge, but offers total privacy and serenity. The driveway is STEEP—we weren’t scared going up or down, but trying to turn your car around once you get to the top made us nervous. The view and sounds of the creek below made it worth it. The fireplace was a nice touch, and we really enjoyed the large porch (two levels). You can spend a day downtown surrounded by hundreds of people, then come back to this cabin and feel like you have the whole world to yourself. I would definitely recommend if steep driveways don’t scare you :). Just be careful actually turning onto Cove Creek Drive. It’s kind of a blind turn in. It’s the top cabin on the mountain, so the privacy is wonderful. Nice big bathrooms as well, very clean.

The cabin was everything we wanted. Really enjoyed the sounds of the little creek running below the cabin. The driveway was a little steep, but after the first initial trip up it, we did ok. Would definitely stay again

Very secluded and private cabin. Sitting on the porch listening to the creek was wonderful. Cabin was just like the photos. Very clean. Good location to start your Smoky Mountain adventures!!

We stayed three nights, and enjoyed almost every bit of it! The cabin is clean and well taken care of. The view of the creek is magnificent, and the cabin is very private. In addition, the cabin is very close to Pigeon Forge and the Elkmont Hiking Trails in the Smoky Mountain National Park. The only downside to our stay was the bed. It is very firm and not very comfortable. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend the cabin.

We had the best time. It was in the perfect location. About 20 mins from downtown Gatlinburg and 5 mins from Pigeon Forge. It’s still tucked away so you have some privacy. Would definitely recommend staying here. We loved it.

The place was fantastic. Listening to the creek in the mornings and the evening was so relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. We love the Wears Valley area. Been there several times and we will be back. Thanks!!!
