Lighthouse 1605

We’ve been coming to Gulf Shores for over 35 years and has become our winter escape. We’ve stayed in many different condos through the years but the Lighthouse has been our “home” for the past 15 years. As our needs have changed and owners buying and selling, we’ve had both 2 and 3 bedrooms. This is our first winter in unit 1605 and it is great! Love the location with beautiful views from the balcony which also has some of the best outdoor furniture we’ve ever had. Sunrise and sunsets are awesome. The lack of a roof over the balcony is no problem as there’s always a corner you can find for shade and it allows so much light into the condo. If we were to be here in the heat of summer, it may not be so welcome. The unit is well stocked but still room enough in cabinets for our own supplies. The furniture is good, bed comfortable, and decor pleasant. We hope to continue our “snowbird” season of life in this unit for many years to come. A big thank you to the owners for taking pride in what they share with us, their guests.

The view was outstanding, and the place was very clean! Because of how the unit was angled, we got to see the sun rise in the morning and the sun set in the evening. The building is non-smoking, which is a huge benefit for us. When we had an issue with a chain smoker on the balcony beneath us, both the onsite security and Liquid Life (the property manager) took our concerns seriously and responded right away. Overall excellent service and a lovely stay! We will be booking with Liquid Life again in the future!

The condo had a excellent view of the Gulf and the two pools below. Additionally the elevator wait area and 16th floor walkway view of the Gulf Shore State Park and the lake on the opposite side of the condo complex was spectacular. The condo had a great layout; the bunk beds was a definite favoite for my grand daughter.

Only 5???? Loved our girls week. Celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday and the fact that she's still with us after almost getting killed a year ago. She introduced me to Liquid Life and, specifically, The Lighthouse. Can't imagine a greater management company to work with. We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean and right on the beach. I will say, the office is ever strict on parking passes (we had 3 cars but could only park 2) so keep that in mind. Also, with a group of 8, it would have been nice to have a few more rolls of TP. Other than those minor things, it was perfect!!

The condo is beautiful and as good as photos. My only suggestion is to the owner would be to have a few more paper products ( toilet paper, paper towels, detergent for washing clothes and dishwasher soap) the last thing I want to do on a Vacation is to shop for toilet paper and paper towels , etc It wouldn't cost the owner anything to have a few more products for the home.

This condo was gorgeous! Extremely clean, well decorated, well stocked, beds were comfortable, and everything was updated/newer. The pools were clean and beautiful, beach access was a breeze and our views were amazing. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will 100% book this exact condo again. I give 5 stars and an A+ rating. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: Steps from the beach, excellent views from living area and master, Plenty of space, just as pictured, lovely decor-simple, classic and beachy, Clean, plenty of parking, convenient to restaurants and stores, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, excellent condo, fast elevator, on-site security monitored property, good Wi-Fi, some toiletries provided-lotion, shampoo, body wash, great tv options including Netflix Cons: No balcony overhang so no shade on balcony or protection from wind, front door sticks (very hard to open/close - management said they’d send someone but never did), only 3 washcloths for 6 people, dryer is noisy and set on energy efficiency so takes multiple cycles to dry clothes and towels, no convenient bedroom outlet for cell phone, 1 eye on stove did not work, 1 had not been cleaned well and set off smoke detector when I used it though nothing was burning, master bath has small shower and gigantic garden tub (waste of space), laundry room is bigger than bunk room (waste of space could have made it a true 3 bedroom and there’s plenty of room in master for stackable washer/dryer), no hand soap bring your own, no umbrellas in pool area to protect from sun, parking fee $40 not included in condo fee (this includes guests).Overrall a great experience I’d rent here again.

We had myself, wife, a nineteen year old, and two seventeen year olds. Our room fit us all perfectly and there was so much to do just on the property. We let the kids roam and we followed along as best as possible. So close to everything as well. Overall we were very satisfied and look forward to our next gulf shores vacation

Condo was clean with plenty of linens. Fully stocked kitchen. All appliances worked well. 2 pools was nice with such a large condo! Office staff/security were very helpful. Plenty of parking available. 16th floor gave concern for long elevator waits - did not happen! Never had to wait long for elevator & elevators were fast when you forgot something on the way to the beach! Will be back for FloraBama, The Hangout, Sunliner Diner, Ruby Slipper Cafe, clean beach and relaxation.
