Condo was a perfect for our family. Had gorgeous views and a huge balcony. Only things we had issues with was working with Liquid Life. They offered us a discounted price on an extra night which we accepted and added on to the beginning of our stay. However they added it on to the end of our stay and that caused issues getting checked in. Condo could also use a few more kitchen supplies as it was very bare. Other than that it was perfect!

The Lazy River was awesome. My grandkids aged 18 months and 3 loved it and the pool was zero entry so it was perfect for them. We had a couple of overcast/rainy days and so the indoor pool was a plus. We had a 4 bdrms on the 16th floor, the elevators were fast and the large balcony view was awesome. The white sand beach was great and not crowded. They also had at least 4 spray nozzles to use on a boardwalk coming up from the beach to rinse off the sand. Rentals were available for beach items and baby items. For clarification you do need to bring beach towels. They only supply I dishwasher pod, I laundry pod, 1 paper towel roll, so be prepared for that. The only negative was that the hot tub chemicals tingled our legs so we didn’t get in because they were likely too strong but with kids using them I can see why they they would be stronger.

We were stunned at the quality of the accommodations. The view was spectacular. It's hard to put into words what a wonderful experience this was. The only 2 things I'd recommend are- 1 - more regular sleeping pillows, the decorative ones just don't work well with regular pillows, 2 - a few more regular blankets. Other than those 2 things, there were no complaints except we had to leave. However, having said that, we rebooked for next year before this trip was even over. Same condo too. See you next year! We absolutely loved the property. It was clean and looked just like the pictures. Kevin was great to communicate with and always responded quickly. The check in process was very simple. The condo was perfect for our large family. The pools and lazy river were great for the kids and adults as well. The community area was really enjoyable and not overly touristy. The condo was so spacious and inviting! We had 4 couples. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was priceless! The view of the ocean is stunning! We stayed here with our family of 11 for our annual beach vacation. The property was huge and absolutely breathtaking. Loved the huge great room and wraparound balcony. Bedrooms, other than primary, were a little small but we didn’t spend much time there anyway. The kitchen was very well appointed, more so than any other property we’ve ever rented. Best condo we’ve ever rented in Orange Beach!

We decided to spend time together this year away from home after the holidays and we were so glad we did. The condo was a great unit to stay in. It was close to OWA (about 25 minutes) and we got an amazing view. The only hiccup we had was about the parking but we got it sorted thanks to the wonderful lady at the front desk. We had a great time! I have stayed at many condos in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We all loved this one. It was perfect for my Sons and daughter in laws. And our 5 grand daughters. The furnishings were perfect for all 11 of us. The queen size bunk beds and trundle was a hit with the little girls. My son mentioned he really enjoyed this complex because it was not as crowded as some we have stayed in. I also liked that we were able to have 3 parking passes. We will stay here again!

Condo is located directly on the beach. It had an outdoor and indoor pool, which was great for our kids, including a lazy river and a slide. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils. very nice large table for big families who want to sit and eat together. It is close to everything in Orange Beach many restaurants, stores, gift shops. It’s a great location!

Condo was great and had plenty of space for our party. Views were beautiful from the deck. Check in process was a bit daunting, and we were surprised by the hefty fee for parking that wasn’t included in our stay. Front office had issues with the parking passes and had to issue us temporary passes multiple times, which means we had to make 3 separate trips to the front desk and out to our cars to switch out passes. While that was inconvenient, it doesn’t have anything to do with the owner, so overall it was a 5 star stay. The only complaint we had about the condo itself was that the ice maker/water dispenser in the fridge door didn’t work, and there was a separate ice maker at the bar that didn’t work either. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely book the condo for a future stay.

This place was great. The huge balcony is definitely the selling point, though the rest of the unit was amazing as well. Nice large kitchen, plenty of beds and bathrooms, good view (no high rise unit next door, so you can see all the way down the beach), and just steps away from 2 indoor hot tubs, an indoor pool, and outdoor lazy river, outdoor pool, outdoor kiddy pool, and most importantly, the beach! Would stay again next time I'm traveling with a large group.

This property was awesome. The 16th floor balcony had the best views. This place was spacious enough for 11 of us to fit comfortably with room for a couple more. There were some issues with the property, however. You had to wear shoes in the condo, otherwise your feet would turn black. Some of the lights in the showers didn't work. There were burn marks on the table on the balcony. The fridge door did not have blockers to keep the foods or drinks in the door. There was no real cleaning supplies...not even a cheapo swiffer sweeper. And, there was a strong smell of (substance people smoke) everywhere throughout the complex and on the beach. Someone even dropped a "smoking device" either from the story above us or below us, and it landed in the baby pool. Other than the above, the property was great. The pools, water slide, and lazy river were a hit for the five who were 18 and under.

This is a beautiful condo with absolutely breathtaking views. Our family of six adults, one teenager, and one nearly teenager, stayed comfortably with plenty of space for everyone together and areas for alone time. The kitchen is well stocked. The kitchen, living, dining area is well arranged and very comfortable. With the owners’ permission, we were able to have extended family (who were staying in other units in the building) join us for meals, which was great for our family reunion. Beds are comfortable (with the exception of one) and bathrooms were great. The balcony has plenty of area for resting, napping, and visiting. Everything was very clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit 1601 at Phoenix West and can’t wait to go back. Thanks to the owners for their quick response to questions and for sharing their lovely condo with our family!

We had 8 adults and 2 kids comfortably sleeping. The kitchen was very well stocked although the pans could be replaced (teflon peeling off). I've rented multiple condos/houses through VRBO and typically deal directly with the owners but in this case it was managed through Gulf2Shores. It was a bit confusing at times because I would get conflicting answers but overall it worked out. Usually the rentals leave things like spices from prior guests but this place does not. It was stripped of all things like that before we arrived. You will need to get toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen towels since they only supply 2. None of this dampens what an incredible trip it was and how stunning the condo is, just giving renters a heads up. The slide, pools, lazy river and Beach access were AMAZING.

It was a nice unit and was extremely comfortable. Renting through Gulf2Beach was an easy process. We did have one plumbing issue, but Gulf2Beach and the condo association were quick to resolve the issue. The only other issue we had was with the WiFi but we did not call the WiFi company to try to resolve the issue. The building only has 4 public elevators, so certain times of the day, you may be waiting for 15 minutes or so. But overall it was a great trip. The unit was just as described online. We were very pleased with the unit and the service at Gulf2Beach. Thank you!

The condo was even more beautiful than the pictures show and the view was breathtaking! The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for two families with young kids to spread out. We enjoyed the location and all of the amenities. Having the option to spend time at the beach, outdoor pool, lazy river, AND an indoor pool was ideal for small children who could still swim on a chilly day. My oldest nephew was married last Saturday and 4 generations of my family stayed in 1601 Phoenix West. From the online pictures my expectations were high, but I was blown away. Everything about it was perfect for our family and the event. My only problem is how to top this with the next family vacation.

Everything was great! Carts are available to help transport all your “stuff” to your condo. No trouble parking. Elevators were a little slow on arrival day but were fine the rest of the week. The view from the balcony was wonderful! We had a couple of issues but they were resolved - one not till our last day but they did resolve it!

The condo was nicely decorated and the layout worked well for a large group. Having a bathroom attached to each bedroom was convenient as well as having a full size washer/dryer. The bunk room was listed to fit 5 people; it is a bit tight for 5 adults. It really fits 3 adults in that room or 5 children. We had to use blowup mattresses. It would be helpful to keep a broom in the unit as well as an extra blanket in each bedroom. There is some mold on the ceiling in the master shower that should be removed. The lazy river was busy during peak hours so you may want to bring your own tubes. The pools and workout room (get key from front desk) were clean. 4 pm check in seemed a bit late - moving that up just a little would be helpful. Overflow parking is about 30 minutes away which is an inconvenience; I'm not sure what can be done about that. Overall, the unit and the complex were very nice. I would recommend it and I would definitely stay again.

We stayed recently for the 4th of July week with friends and family. The view was amazing! The condo was spacious enough for everyone & we did not feel cramped. My only suggestion for improvement would be to update the kitchen cookware & dishes. We cooked in mostly while staying there and the set of pots, pans, and bakeware were disappointing for that caliber of a condo and how much you pay. Other than that-our trip was amazing!

This place was perfect in every way: spacious, beautiful, great location, and amazing views from a balcony to die for!! My only regret is that we only stayed 2 nights. It slept all 11 of us (4 adults, 7 kids) comfortably. Phoenix West is a great resort with all the amenities you could need. I definitely recommend this condo and hope to return soon!

Reviewer Comments: This condo offered everything we needed...great pantry, full sized bunk bed plus a trundle, room for the kids to play, a large balcony, and everyone had their own bathroom. The only negative had to do with the Phoenix West, not the condo itself. There are only four elevators serving 26 floors and there were long wait times at busy times of the day. It was a major complaint of guests staying at Phoenix West. Otherwise, it was a great complex and the condo couldn't get a higher rating from us. Property managers were excellent and efficient also.

There was even a Keurig coffee maker. This is a large unit with plenty of room for everyone. We had a small issue with linen and within a few hours we had a beach cart full of brand new towels. The management is very responsive and seems to care about their guests. The balcony has new furniture and we ate all of our meals there. I can't wait until next summer when we return again. I can't say enough about this beautiful condo.

We had 9 ladies staying here and no one ever felt like anyone was under their feet with the spacious openfloor layout and each bedroom having its own private bathroom was a huge plus. The extra half bath in the hall was also great. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo was very comfortable. I did email Gulf2Beach with a couple of issues; hopefully they will address them soon. The lazy river is amazing, so relaxing. The condo is furnished very nicely. Although all of the sitting areas as pictured in VRBO are not there, it was still a lovely place.

We went for a bachelorette trip. This was the best condo I have ever stayed in! Beautifully decorated and all the windows! I love that each room has its own bathroom. The managers even gave us a few bottle of wine upon arrival! Only thing I would love to have had is a bigger table. We had 8 girls and we couldn't all sit at the table together to eat or play games. I would think this would also be beneficial for families as well. Other than that I will definitely be booking this condo again!!

We unfortunately were displaced because of the Louisiana Flooding and the owners bent over backwards to make sure our stay was truly enjoyable. I was one parent with 6 kids! This condo was so large that each group had their own room AND bathroom PLUS one additional half bath. The view is breathtaking - the pictures don't come close to doing this property justice. Elevators were fast, lots of buggies to help bring luggage to your condo ++++. I have nothing but positives to say about this unit and the outstanding people who own it!

My family has been down to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area 3 out of the last 4 years and we have stayed in three different places. This condo topped them all. It was the biggest. It had the biggest and best balcony. The layout is great and we love the Phoenix West property as a whole. This condo is great for families and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. This was our first family vacation together and it was great mainly because the condo accommodated a family of 8 adults and 5 children (2 babies)!! The floor plan was great, the kids had lots of space to have fun and the view of the ocean was amazing from every room. The kitchen had everything you needed as well as the bathrooms and a added bonus washer and dryer! If we ever go back to Orange Beach we will definetly try to get this condo.

Our condo at Phoenix West was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We had eight people total (4 adults and 4 kids) and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy the amenities. The patio was HUGE and we loved being steps away from the beach. The lazy river and outdoor pools were not heated, but the kids did not seem to mind. Our favorite activities (besides hanging out at the beach) were parasailing and zip lining. If you are a family traveling for Spring Break, I would definitely recommend staying in Orange Beach. Restaurants and condos in Gulf Shores seemed to cater to the college crowd, while Orange Beach was more laid back and family-friendly. All in all, a fun trip and a great place to stay!

Very big condo which have an beautiful view of the beach and the sea. You can see the sunrise and sunset on the balcony. We really enjoy our stay there!

This place was absolutely perfect for our weekend girls' trip in! As moms of little ones, we were all looking forward to a good night's sleep while away. All of our beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us. The balcony was huge and had gorgeous views of the beach and sunsets. We are looking forward to staying here every year :)

My family just stayed at this condo. We all agreed that this is the most beautiful condo we have ever seen. The beach theme showed casual elegance. We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 5-7. There was plenty of room for everyone. Each bedroom had a floor to ceiling window and small balcony facing West. Kitchen was well stocked and linen was adequate. My favorite was the wrap around windows in the living area and the very large balcony facing West. We were able to view spectacular sunsets,a thunder storm and the rainbow that followed. We ate all our meals on the balcony because of the amazing views and the size of the balcony. My grandchildren loved the slide and pools, lazy river, hot tub, and the beautiful beach. We will plan another visit soon.
