This property was awesome! The location was perfect. Our family absolutely loved it. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the photo stated that one couch converted to a queen size bed but neither couch converted. I do wish that there was a pantry but overall it was perfect!

We booked the Surfcaster house because of its location right on the beach. We were blown away by the beautiful views but also the charm of the house! We spent our mornings and evenings relaxing on the deck with the ocean view. The house was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

The location of this home can’t be beat! Close enough to run to grab food or shop in just a few minutes but far enough from the high rise condos to avoid the crowds. The deck being partially covered was perfect and very spacious. Very close to the water so was able to sit on the deck and watch the kids play on the beach. Home is one of the older beach homes I have stayed in and the cleanliness left a little to be desired but spending the majority of the time outside anyway, the location and deck were more than enough to make up for this. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Very clean and well decorated. Looks just like the pictures. Great location. Management was very responsive to messages. They had beach chairs available for use, but laying out on the sundeck felt like you were right on the beach so we didn't even use beach chairs. I would defiantly stay here again.

This is the second time we’ve rented this house and we absolutely love it! We will be renting again for our next beach trip. The owners are fantastic. Checked on us and made sure everything was good. The house is the perfect location, not just for right on the beach but close to everything you need. We love that half the deck is covered and the other half isn’t. The beds are super comfortable. And, the house is the perfect size for the family to be close but can spread out.

Pros: - So close to the beach - some places are on the beach but the walk from the house to water is a bit long. Not here! It’s just over the sand dune. - There were beach chairs and sand toys available under the house which we didn’t know about when we booked, so it was an pleasant unexpected surprise. The beach chairs were perfect on the beach. - It had a very comfortable and home-y feel. The place isn’t overly big, but we had 8 adults and we never felt crowded and everyone had their own space. - 2 full bathrooms - The porch! It’s very big, with half of it covered and the other half uncovered. So you could chose whether or not you wanted to be in the sun while all still being together - Kitchen was well-stocked with pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. Cons (not really cons, but rather FYI’s): - We had some trouble unlocking the door when we first got there. Instructions would have been helpful. However, we made a quick call which was promptly answered and we were in. - With 8 adults, the one bedroom with bunk beds was less than ideal, but would be perfect for kids. - Location is perfect for the quietness but we needed to drive if we wanted to go anywhere. Town and stores were a few miles away. We would absolutely stay here again!

The house was very clean. The weather didn’t cooperate the best, but we could still enjoy watching and hearing the waves under the covered patio. The windows could use an update. As it grew dark we ended up with a few flying insects in the house and no clue how they got in other than the windows not being the best. We were more secluded and enjoyed the beach not being overly crowded on this end. We would likely stay here again.

Our favorite thing was the porch as we spent hours in the rocking chairs looking at the ocean and allowing all our stressors to fall away. We would definitely rent this place again. The pics all show the house as pink but it’s been updated to gray which threw us off when we’re were looking for it. The appliances we used all worked and were clean. The fridge was immaculate with an ice maker. The bathrooms were small but adequate with plenty of hot water and towels. There were a variety of mattresses to choose from. One room had a firm queen one had a plush queen one had a double and the other room had twin bunks. The washer and dryer were a life saver. Over all it was a great place to stay.

This home is just steps from the beach! Not only that, but the water just in front of it is a little deeper than the surrounding area which brings in lots of fish and DOLPHINS! If you don't mind an older home, this place is great!

This was the perfect little beach house. Loved that the huge deck led directly to the white sand. We watched dolphins in the distance along with pods of rays. The bunk beds were a hit for the kids. Plenty of supplies for whatever you wanted to do. (Sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs)We liked how close to the main shopping and restaurant area. We were there in November so we had no neighbors on either side and the beach to ourselves. Very pleasant stay.

The house was better than I expected. It was beautiful, super clean, and the location couldn’t be any better! It’s close to the main area of town but far enough that the beach wasn’t crowded with high rises next to it. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and the deck was perfect! It was nice that it was only half covered so you had your options of how you wanted to relax on the deck! I loved that there was a door between the main living areas and the sleeping areas. This was great since we had little kids and needed to keep things quiet during nap time and could shut the door. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 to spread out. We will absolutely be renting this house again.

There just aren't that many places to find this type of direct beach access. The waters of gulf shores may not always be as clear as their eastern neighboring shores, but the beach is unbeatable.

This was our first time to stay in a property directly on the beach - it was awesome! The house is not large but was a perfect size for our family of five. Storage room had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. Lots of enjoyable time on the deck, too. Only suggestion would be to add a small table on the deck for meals - we would have spent nearly ALL our time outside ;)
