Summerchase 404

They could not have done a better job. We stayed in room 404 at Summerchase. It was very nice, clean, and the view was spectacular. One problem: the couch, love seat, and chair in the living area are the most uncomfortable things we have ever sat in. They are sofa beds and you sink so deep when you sit down that is very, very difficult to get back up. The owners need to replace these badly. We are most greatful for the performance of Liquid Life, but we will not stay in 404 again.

Check-in was seamless using door code provided via email/text. Location was exactly what we were looking for with less people surrounding us due to public parking for local beachgoers on left and right. Easy walk to coastal restaurant. Parking is tight but no issue with finding a spot. Beach was clean and chair guy was available for rentals right in front of us. Overall condo was clean. The floors were covered in sand though, as if they hadn’t been swept or mopped. Couches were old and loveseat had broken springs. Enough pans/pots and kitchen utensils for our needs. Even the blender worked! There is a coffee pot for grinds, no keurig or pod coffee pot available. Indoor pool room is tough to breath in and is pretty tight when you have more than 5-10 people in there. Outdoor pool is more spacious. Summerchase is a bit dated overall but is such a great central location for what we were looking for- close to restaurants, churches, grocery stores, etc.

I never buy the insurance they offer at check out but our host allowed and changed the days for us and moved it up sooner! They condo was great with amazing views, well stocked, clean and comfortable beds! Would most definitely stay again!

This is similar to many condos we've stayed at in the area in this price range. I picked it b/c it said clean. It was OK. Perhaps my standards are above most others. The table is sticky (could be the paint). The floors are not great (like they could be scrubbed). The shower has mildew.I ALMOST bought a $15 toaster and $30 coffee maker to replace what is there, but decided against it. Also a new toilet seat. A few of these things would be a cheap fix and make the stay better . I can't, for the life of me, figure out why people can't find cleaners that do a great job. If I had a 700k condo, I'd hire someone that would insure a good review. 😉We love Orange Beach, and will continue to stay in this area. Maybe I'll find a clean condo to keep returning to. Check in/out and communication was great!Thank you!!

The condo was super clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything in it that we needed for our stay. We spent our mornings on the balcony watching the dolphins, boaters, and shore fisherman. We rented beach chairs with umbrella right out in front of the condo everyday. The king bed was fairly comfortable. The large master shower was amazing. The living room furniture was quite worn, so we sat at the bar and dining table when inside. We enjoyed local restaurants and music, including a fantastic night out at the Florabama! We drove into Gulf shores and went to the pier where there were we sighted sting rays, dolphin, and even sharks! We had an amazing time! Already looking to book this unit again in the fall..

First visit to Orange beach and it did not disappoint! Condo was perfect. It was very clean upon arriving and provided essentials that was needed. I can’t say enough about the balcony view. It was gorgeous! Same view from the master bedroom with balcony access. The condo had plenty of space for a family of four. Will definitely rent this condo again!

Everything was great! Clean and simple! The management company communicated a lot but wish they would have had a list of things not provided. 7 day stay and two rolls of toilet paper for 5 people. One roll of paper towel, one pack of dishwashing detergent and one pack of washing machine powder. For families that don’t typically rent condos it was annoying paying near 4K and getting two rolls of TP, being asked to run the dishwasher before we leave yet there are no tabs… it just would have been less trips to the store. At the least overly mentioning we will need to supply our own coffee filters-better yet management company should demand a reusable wire one for renting! Tp will not be provided, no beach towels, no cleaning products for counters, dish tabs per day… wouldn’t be impossible to have a basket made for each family that goes along with the amount of days you are renting out… or again overly communicate what will run out.

We set every condo up with a started kit, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom,1 trash bag per can, 1 dishwashing tab, and 1 detergent tab. This is to help guests get settled in when they first arrive. Due to each stay being a different length of time, we have the started kit to be fair for each guest that arrives. The property was in a fantastic location, close to attractions in the city, and beach front was amazing. There were two things that were unpleasant; first, the guest bedroom had a window behind and above one of the beds and the light and noise from the balcony was disruptive, second, the sofa sleeper mattress has seen better days! It's way over due for replacement and the rods underneath the sleeper were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was wonderful and we hope to stay again.

This was a very nice property and exactly as advertised. View off the balcony is great and allows you to watch the sunrise. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the floors could use a deep clean, headboard in master is loose so every time you move it rattles, and the TV in the second bedroom didn't work. Minor issues - overall great stay.

There is also currently nothing on either side of this property which makes space on the beach plentiful. The only downside is having to walk out the front of the condo and around the side to access the beach and pool (confusing at first). There was a small issue with one of the shower heads leaking but after sending an email, the maintenance man was there to repair within 30 minutes. Would highly recommend this condo.

This is a great condo. It was just as described and pictured. The only downfall, which is unfortunately common in most hotels and rentals, was that the sleeper sofa was not suitable for sleeping. There was no padding, just springs. The couch also sank when you sat on it, probably due to the bad mattress inside. But other than that, everything was wonderful. The view was amazing from the balcony. We even saw dolphins two of the mornings. The beach is very large and uncrowded. There was a lot of seaweed in the water when we were there, but obviously there is nothing the owners can do about that.
