This property is exactly as described and pictured. Living room furniture is comfortable and is great for family of 4. In my opinion you cannot beat the location. We never waited for the elevator. All guests were friendly and courteous. Walk down to the beach is perfect especially with smaller kids. The AC worked very well. The kitchen is well equipped and washer and dryer worked well. Beds were comfortable. It would be a bit tight with more than 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again. Zero complaints.

We had a great stay. The condo was clean and well stocked to cook and live for a week. We enjoyed the heated pool and short walk to the beach! Only complaint is that the people below us were frequently smoking on their balcony and the smell was terrible. But we would stay here again!

The condo was clean, well stocked with paper goods, and towels. The only problem we found was the smoke alarms that were beeping. Kevin was quick to get back with me on this. The maintenance people, not so much. Other than this, we had a great time. Oh, and the views from the balcony, fabulous!

We had the most perfect week at the beach. The condo was great. It was clean, updated appliances, furniture was great especially the recliners for my mom. Perfect view of the pool and gulf, and loved the convenience of being on the 3rd floor. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall a great place to stay. Steps away from beach and pool. No tents aloud, only umbrellas. Shower stall needs some work in the main bedroom, but over all clean. Would stay again!

We had a glorious month vacation at this lovely condo on the beach! The condo was clean, well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable furnishings. Loved the beachy feel Inside & Out! Had a bit of a problem at check-in causing delay & miscommunication but it was corrected quickly and smooth sailing thereafter.

This was a great place to stay as a family of four. We did have an issue with fruit flies upon arrival. I contacted the property manager (to let them know) and they had stated that they would send someone out to get rid of the fruit flies. We declined due to not really wanting anyone in there while we were out. The property manager stated that fruit flies are a common problem in the area during this time of the year. The property was very family-friendly, and close to restaurants and entertainment. We loved the balcony and easy access to the beach. Would recommend!

We loved the location, this is our second time at this location, but a different unit. This particular unit was nice, clean and decorated nice. The main bathroom is smaller but due to layout it works for most. The sun rises are great, sun set can be seen from the beach as the building next door blocks the view.

Place was perfect for our girls trip. Only 3 of us and we had a wonderful time. Only problem was construction being done on the building was very very loud and made the pool nasty and hot tub unusable. It was HOA of the building though so nothing rental company could have done. Would definitely use again though but will ask about construction next time 😊

We stayed in this condo last summer and absolutely fell in love with the property and location. The super close proximity of the pool and beach is so convenient, especially with 3 little kids! We stayed the week of Labor Day this year and it was maybe even more perfect. The beach and pools were never crowded and we got to watch dolphins from our balcony every single day. My family has found our favorite vacationing spot and it would be hard to go anywhere else!

Our property was extremely clean. Only thing I was surprised was there were no ceiling fans. We were here in March and didn’t really run heat or AC. Ceiling fans would’ve helped circulate air, especially in the bedrooms at night.

This condo was exactly as described and pictured. Great location on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio and ate breakfast there daily. We did experience some condensation issues in the condo. Woke up and the tile floors were saturated with water puddles. Very concerning as it made the floors slippery. Called maintenance and they were very quick to respond with a solution. We did experience the condensation problem every morning and had to turn the air conditioner way down to assist with it.

The property was very clean, even though the last storm to go through had put sand where it normally isn"t there. There is only one thing I think was needed in the master bathroom was a mat in the tub. It was slick, so we bought one to use while we were there. Otherwise every thing was very satisfactory.

This property is exactly as it is shown on VRBO. Very clean with great amenities. The chairs on the balcony are very comfortable and well built. Views were great. The 2nd bed/bath offer lots of privacy for guests. This place had everything we would possibly have needed for a vacation. Check in process is flawless. Took me a minute to figure out how to open the key lock box, but it still was easier than tracking down to an office to check in or out. Would definitely recommend this property for families or a couple wanting an extra bed/bath. Thanks for letting us use your property!!!

Upon arrival we found the AC was not working properly. We had responses from maintenance within a few hours and the problem was corrected. Pools were enjoyed by our two grandsons and beach was only a few steps away. Balcony was enjoyable as well! Thankfully the weather cooperated!!!☀️⛱

This condo is very nice and exceptionally clean. Located beachfront, it only takes a few steps to hit the sand. Great ocean view from the large balcony. Reservation and check-in and departure processes were very easy, and when a bedroom was accidentally left locked and we couldn’t get into it, my call and text regarding the issue were answered very quickly. I would 100% stay at this location again if my travels take me back to the area! We loved it!

The condo and location were perfect! Being just 2 floors up was so ideal! We enjoyed the beach, heated pool, and walking to restaurants and shops. Each morning we sat on the patio and watched the dolphins playing in the ocean. The views were incredible!! You can't beat the white sand. The patio furniture was top notch, way better than some condos that had white plastic chairs. If anyone is thinking of staying here, book now!

There are two buildings for Surfside Shores. It wasn't clear as to which building our room was in. We ended up going to the wrong one of course. I called the property manager and she was very helpful in getting us to the right building and to the right floor. It was also not clear as to where the locked box was with the key to open the condo. So, I had to call them again. There were several boxes to choose from and ours was not marked so that made it difficult. However, once we got in there, the condo was very nice, exceptionally clean, and we had a great time. Would definitely stay there again. Loved the location on the west beach. Will recommend.

This is a quiet, clean condo that looks out over a beautiful beach. Its furnishings were cozy and attractive. During our recent visit, we opted to stay in and prepare our own meals and found that the little kitchen area had everything we needed. We also enjoyed watching Netflix on the large living room TV. The elevator made getting out to the beach each day a breeze, and parking was plentiful. We really didn't venture out into town much... I mean, why leave such a gorgeous spot, right? On the first night though, we did use the nearby Walmart to pick-up pre-ordered groceries, and then stopped across the street at Walgreen's Pharmacy to grab some forgotten vitamins -- very convenient. We did miss having chair service on the beach, but next time we'll know to just bring our own... no big deal. (We enjoyed the lounge chairs around the pool a few afternoons instead.) All in all, we had such a relaxing stay. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful condo. We hope to be back in 2021.

Loved the smaller unit and property!!! Fewer crowds than at a Phoenix or larger resort property. Upon entering the unit, we noticed a couple of things that needed cleaning (blood on shower liner, which I cleaned up with some Clorox wipes I brought and a little mold on shower curtains/liner). It was nothing worth reaching out to the facility about, but liners should be washed and/or replaced. Other than those small things to me, we had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay at this unit again.

One reason I chose this condo was bc of the reviews stating security was especially good. That was important to me with my 2 girls. Security was exceptional, visible, and I felt completely safe. Frank, the night security guard, we just love him. The condo was beautiful, had everything we needed, and was clean. It was beautifully decorated. The large balcony was great. We turned the table, put all 4 chairs at it, and had a lot of great meals out there. The king bed was comfortable. The ocean is right there, just steps away. This condo is in the best spot in the building. The view off the balcony over the pretty courtyard with palm trees is another reason we chose this one. We rented chairs & umbrellas from Ike’s. It was so convenient! We just walked out and enjoyed the beach. A really short walk down the beach they do the banana boat, parasailing, and paddle board rentals. The beach wasn’t overcrowded in this area. There’s a little grocery/ beach store that we walked to allot, just in our bathing suits, that was actually well priced and had all the little things we forgot or needed. We walked to the Hangout one night and had a blast. The public beach is just a walk away too, with volleyball nets, etc. We walked the beach almost every sunrise, watched all the birds, it was magical. Management was great. My husband ended up coming down the last few days. Picking up his extra parking pass was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again!

We flew in from Iowa. We flew to Pensacola and had around an hour drive to Gulf Shores. We had to "check in" after hours. We picked up our packet in Foley, AL. I was a little worried about this process, but it couldn't have been easier. Parking was breeze thanks to the security guy at Surf Shores. My children first saw the ocean from our balcony at night. The morning was even better. We were able to rent beach chairs from Ike's for around $40 dollars per day. They set them up right in front of the condo every morning around 8:30a. Well worth the money. I have three children (9,7, and 3). I bought some buckets and shovels and a body board from Rouse's Market. Hind sight being 20/20, we should have gone to Surf Style on Day 1 to get our beach gear; we ended up leaving all this behind for others to use. Surf Shores was perfectly situated on the beach and close enough to all the entertainment. The unit itself suited our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furniture on the patio was incredibly comfortable and perfect for coffee every morning. We tried our best to keep sand out of the unit; we were unsuccessful, but luckily, there was a vacuum available. We had booked another unit, but it flooded 2 weeks prior to our arrival. We lucked out and got 1302 Surfside Shores on short notice. We walked by the unit we initially rented; we were very happy to see that we had gotten a better unit. TL:DR- the next time we head to Gulf Shores, AL we will try to book with Surfside Shores 1302.

We had a wonderful experience. The condo was clean and well equipped. We left early due to the tropical storm and glad we did! We watched a small tornado cross the street in front of us! We would gladly stay hear again! One suggestion. Would be to post the condo rules in the unit as well as on the back of the parking pass!(Which I neglected to read until I left!) 🤷🏻‍♀️

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The only complaints some of the guests had were the beds not being the most comfortable. Some were older and needed replacing. I also didnt like the communication with the VRBO folks. It was way easier to directly communicate with the property managers, who were more than helpful.

I would definitely rent Paula’s condo again! It is beautiful and very clean. Tastefully decorated and everything looked just like the pictures. The condo building had easy on and off access on the elevator and a direct beach view. We had a wonderful time and will return!
