The property was clean and check in was an easy process! The only negative I would say is I did not realize this was a condo that did not have a beach view (as some are located on the back side of the property facing the bay/parking lot) but I may not have read the listing correctly. All in all, we had a great stay.

Overall, the place is beautiful and so many amenities! It was perfect for our girls graduation trip. The only frustration was the check-in/check-out process, due to the looooong elevator wait. The place is so big, with so many people there, a staggered check-in/checkout process would make more sense.

This was the first time I’ve used VRBO to rent. While the process was pretty easy, checking in at the facility wasn’t the best welcoming experience. Some people just don’t belong in front of others. They were only for promoting their company which is fine but when 4 adults look lost as ever, kindness goes a really long way. However, communications with the rental managers and the site itself were absolutely amazing! We would go back again for sure.

We had a wonderful time here over Christmas. The condo was exactly like the pictures, very spacious and a nice layout. We were impressed to have four bathrooms, and the surprise ice maker! The condo itself was great. There were not many there until the last day or two of our stay. The lobby was nice and inviting, with a beautiful view of the Gulf. We enjoyed the Gulf State Park right down the street. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had such fun last weekend at your unit. The unit was available for check-in much earlier than expected (sadly, we weren't able to take advantage of it) and it was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and lazy river, the exercise room had anything you could want, even a super-helpful trainer, and it was great having hot tubs on the 14th floor. The elevators were amazingly efficient for the size of the complex (a bit overwhelming!), and the front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. Thank you for more great memories in OBA!

We loved our stay at Phoenix West 2. The condo was clean and we had plenty of room for all 8 adults and 1 toddler. I loved that our condo had a bathroom in each bedroom and also, a guest bathroom so there was plenty of room for everyone to get ready. We loved that our condo was right on the beach and we didn't have a long walk. We would definitely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The condo is well stocked with kitchen items (the only thing we lacked was a grill lighter to use the grill) and the ice machine was a huge bonus! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for 3 families! The location is perfect and close to everything and the bayside view is beautiful! We spent many evenings on the balcony!

The entire process went smoothly. The condo was roomy and clean. The beach access was a huge plus. Kids could run between the beach and pools all day. Short drive to many restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved going back and forth between the lazy river and the beach. The elevators got congested during peak check in hours and popular travel times (like dinner), but the staff told us that they were putting in more elevators and an adult-only pool and tiki bar next year. The condo was clean and centrally located.

This condo was the perfect size for 3 families. It has great amenities for all ages & just a short walk to the beach. Like other reviews mentioned, the elevator wait times can be upwards to 20-30 minutes during peak hours of the day, but it’s just a minor inconvenience compared to how great our stay was! We had a wonderful time!

We just stayed here with our 3 kids and it was perfect! The unit had plenty of towels and washcloths which was huge considering most places we’ve stayed in the past barely had enough so this little detail was a huge plus in my book as a mom! Also, very clean, beautifully decorated and easy access to the beach! So many amenities for the kids and adults to both enjoy. View is Bayside but we really don’t mind considering we’re at the beach most of the day anyways. Plus it’s a pretty view on the Bayside so we enjoyed it. All in all, no complaints, wonderful stay. This property is beautifully renovated and perfect for a multi-family getaway. The condo is a great size and there is plenty of comfortable bedding. In our group, we had 5 adults, two children 9 and 5 and a little one under 2. We had more than enough room for everyone and felt like we all had space enough to be comfortable. They even had a little table and chair set for toddlers, which our little one loved.

Nicely appointed with televisions and bathrooms in each bedroom with an additional bathroom off the main hallway. Evenings were spent on the balcony playing board games. (Lighting could be better for this purpose). Overall a great experience that my entire family enjoyed.

This condo is huge and very clean. My only complaint would be the elevator and waiting/stopping at multiple floors because this building is incredibly busy. The beach is very crowded but if you walk out and left there is a section that’s not nearly as crowded. Also, evenings are not crowded at all. But the condo itself is a gem and big enough for 2 families to fit comfortably. And the beaches are beautiful and clean!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and chose this property. Certain times of the day, the elevators are a nightmare (be prepared to take the stairs!) but the condo met our expectations. There is plenty of space. The kitchen was equipped to meet our needs, and the ice maker was fantastic.

We are glad you enjoyed our condo. Yes we do have firm mattresses as most guests prefer a firm mattress vs a soft mattress. This is the first complaint I have had about the amount of towels provided. Yes we have a full size washer and dryer and yes you do need to wash towels during your stay. There is no way to provide enough towels so guests do not have to wash during their stay. this is why you have the full size washer and dryer

The location is set-up well for families. Ample beach, pools, lazy River with slide, along with other games and kid themed things to do. It’s convenient to Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. The unit itself was plenty of room for our group of five adults and four kids. It was clean and set up well. While there were some delays with the elevators and water on the floors at the elevator doors, these things are to be expected at such a popular family destination. Especially one with as many units as the Phoenix West II has. I do want to note that the cleaning staff at the resort does a great job. The water was wiped up and catch mats replaced regularly as well as the faint hint of a bleach based cleaner was in the elevators every morning. Our communication with the property managers was always prompt, courteous, and helpful. Easy to speak with by phone or text. I would absolutely recommend this location and these property managers.

The only thing I have to complain about is the elevators at the Phoenix II West itself…. Long wait times 30+minutes… just ridiculous especially wrestling with a 1 year old during the process. The condo itself was wonderful!! Overall we had a great stay!! Definitely will return!!

Only had one issue.Power went out in part of the condo.The whole building had the same problem.Every floor and every condo had the same problem.No fault of the property.Out for like 1 1/2 - 2 hours.Everything else was wonderful.Pools and lazy River were awesome.Beach is closer than it looks like on the listing.

We rented this condo to take our family to the beach and it is a prime location for that. Just a quick trip down the elevator and a short walk by the pool and you're on the white sand beaches of Orange Beach. This condo is just a short drive to Gulf Shores for souvenir shopping or other activities. We really enjoyed the condo.

I'm so sorry that the common area of the complex had a bad smell. The association must have had a leak somewhere in the common areas and they must have been trying to dry it out. Phoenix west 2 is an excellent place to stay. Condo was beautiful. 20th floor view of the 4th of July fireworks was an amazing experience. We will return. Elevator system was not that bad except check out times or if pool suddenly closed from lightening. Can’t wait to come back.

I loved the property and the condo, and our overall experience was great. The condo slept up to 12, however, only allows 2 vehicles to park. My feedback is that a 3rd parking pass should be allowed to be purchased, especially for a condo this large. 12 people could not possibly fit into 2 vehicles to travel to the beach. We only had 8 people in our party, however, 2 of the party had to drive in a day late, therefore, we had a third vehicle. Brett Robinson wouldn't even be willing to make a suggestion as to where to start to look for a place to store the third vehicle, other than that we should contact the property manager. When I contacted the property manager, the response from the property manager to me was, "Only two cars are allowed, I have no idea where to park a third car." Because we rented through VRBO and not Brett Robinson, the registration/front desk was not helpful to us at all, stating that if they made any suggestion they could lose their jobs. This was extremely frustrating.... For future reference if a third vehicle is not going to be allowed, parking suggestions made available to renters would be very nice and helpful. Thank goodness for the kindness of the City of Orange Beach. We were allowed to park our extra vehicle at City Hall by simply filling out a short form. This was my first experience renting through VRBO. I was led to believe that it was much easier than renting through the regular agencies. I'm not so sure... I got the impression that neither party wanted to help us.

We are so very glad you found our cono to have everything you needed for the perfect vacation. Yes there are only enough spaces for 2 cars in the parking garage. that is why I tell all of my guests that they are guaranteed 2 parking passes. In the peak season you will never have enough parking for everyone to bring 3 and 4 cars. In the off season then of course there is usually extra spots and you have no problem parking extra cars. Holidays and Peak Summer and Spring and Fall Break there are never enough parking spaces for extra cars. The city of Orange Beach does not have a public lot or I would definitely let everyone know. This is why I tell evryone to make sure they have made arrangements for any extra cars as there are never extra spaces in the parking garages for more than 2 carsduring these times. I am glad city hall was able to help you out I know this was a definite exception to the rule

The rental was clean and had many amenities. The ice maker was a plus! We had plenty of room for 10 people. The property offered many amenities for all of the people in our group. The only issue that we had with the property was the elevator situation. For instance, there were a couple of elevators out of order, but for a short period of time. Also, check in/check out days and certain times of the day we waiting 30plus minutes for an elevator. We didn’t mind taking the stairs, however we were on the 20th floor and it wasn’t easy with kiddos. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this rental

After the pandemic roller coaster and finding out these Louisiana folks weren’t welcome in FL like we had originally planned, it was SO nice for Orange Beach to welcome us with open arms! We booked this spot on the fly and we’re so glad we did! Great location and amenities and booking was a breeze. My one suggestion would be to allow for more parking. It’s very difficult for 13 people to travel in two vehicles, but we made due.

We are so glad to open our condos to our Louisiana friends and glad you chose our condo. We agree that the amenities are fabulous and glad you enjoyed everyone of them. Yes we so wish they did offer more parking but when the developers build these condos they only allow for 2 parking spaces per condo. We also wish they would not try and cut costs by not allowing sufficient parking for such large condos as we also feel each condo should have 3 parking spots when they sleep 10-13 people but you just can't fight city hall. The property was accurately described on the listing. We enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the bunk bed room. There were a few things that could have been updated- the outdoor furniture was really rusty and flaking off when touched. The cooking ware needs updated. We made eggs and bacon but the pans are very old. When we arrived, the lamps and TVs were unplugged... It took a little bit to figure that out. Make sure to bring coffee filters for the coffee machine.. The ice machine has a change filter notification on it so it didn’t make ice the first day we were there. Even though there were a few hiccups, w would recommend this to any of our friends. We had a very nice, relaxing vacation:)

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes they are painting the building and we are waiting for them to finish before we put the new balcony furniture on the balcony. I'm sorry about the cookware but I did buy new cookware this past summer. I will check on it and make sure to replace cookware again. The Ice Maker the winter guest turned it off and yes the clean and new filter is done annually in April. I'm sorry i did not realize that the winter guest had unplugged any tv or lamps and I do apologize for that. It is such a rust getting long term guests out and Spring Renters in as the ladies that clean have so much to get done in a short time frame Please do come back and stay with us again

We are so very glad you enjoyed your stay in our Condo. We so agree that the association should never have shut the indoor pool down for repairs in the middle of the fall break season. We wish they had waited until at least November. We were also blindsided by this as I found out when I read it on the elevator. We have sent out notices to all upcoming October Rentals so they will not be shocked by the inconvenience. We are so sorry this happened but we were not consulted or notified either. Please do come back again when all the great amenities are open for you to use.

This property exceeded all our expectations. Everything was clean and working correctly. We hope to return next year. Everyone complains about the elevator slowness; we just adjusted and expected to wait several minutes each trip. We did have to go out and buy toilet paper; renters should be advised that no extra rolls are supplied.

Cleaning is also very important to us and thank you for letting us know that our ladies are doing a great job for us. We do hope to have you stay with us again soon. Yes during the summer elevators are definitely busy and you do have to plan around them. I am confused however as to your statement about not knowing to purchase extra paper products. On May 10 at 6:36 am the information letter you received states In the unit there will be one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom. You need to bring additional paper products, trash bags, and laundry and dishwasher detergent for your stay. Therefore I do not understand why you did not know to purchase additional rolls of toilet paper. We always inform each guest so there are no surprises . We definitely want your stay to be a carefree, comfortable, relaxing one with no issues to cloud your vacation..

My family needed a getaway and a reasonable rental to get us to the beach. We spent our time on the beach and the indoor pool and the kids loved it. The large dining table was great for puzzles and everyone took part in that fun. My husband and I fished at the pier just two miles away and caught several large sheepshead fish. We were able to have a little fish fry for dinner and that made his whole trip relaxing. We saw dolphins from the pier non stop, enjoyed the absolute best shell hunting trip I’ve ever had, and dined out with hardly any wait at restaurants. The temps were slightly cool but that didn’t bother us. I made some wonderful memories with my family and all the kids can’t wait to go back. This condo is not beachfront but that just kept the little ones off of the balcony really and helped cut our trip costs down. I enjoyed my coffee and the breeze out there and didn’t need the view to be any more because it was still a nice view. With so many amenities at Phoenix we didn’t need to search for other things to do locally, which was another money saver. We have stayed at Phoenix West II before in the summer and intend to come back this summer again! This unit was a better price than if we had split up at hotels (by far) and we all got to be together and comfortable. There is something for everyone to do on this stretch of beach but if you have kids you really have to try this condo! The slide and the lazy river make them giddy with excitement every morning in the summer and even on this spring break they ran down the boardwalk everyday to get to the ocean. My son has autism as well and I love that he knows where we will be because Phoenix really stands out and he looks for the bracelets on people’s arms if he ever feels uncertain of where he is. It’s just a good fit for us with too many little benefits to mention. The family memories are just too good to pass up. I really have to thank the owners for a good rate!

My family of 13 loved staying in your beautiful, spacious, and well equipped condo. Our ages ranged from 2 yrs old to 69 yrs old, and each of us had our own expectations for this trip. Boy, were we ever happy! There was always plenty to do, from swimming and shelling on the beach, to the lazy river (my favorite), and all the other water activities, we were never bored. Stunning sunsets were seen every night from our quiet balcony, an unexpected gift. We arrived early on our check-in day, found registering easy, and the carts provided very helpful for moving in all our "stuff". It was easy to reach Pam when I had questions, and the complex staff was always pleasant and helpful. We had a great family vacation and made memories to last a lifetime. Thanks Pam!

No complaints only compliments to Pam for an easy and hassle free experience. This was our first time visiting the Alabama coast line. We have always planned our family fall vacation in Florida but opted for a new spot this year and we certainly were not disappointed. The rental process was a breeze and the condo was exactly what we needed for our large group of 12. The unit was beautiful and complete with everything you need to feel right at home while you're away from home. The kids were either on the beach, in the lazy river or in the pool for our entire stay. We also spent one evening fishing from the Gulf State Park pier which is only 2 miles from the condo. We are looking forward to returning again next year. This was the perfect way to end a very busy summer and get ready to launch into the holiday season.

Excitement and expectations were high; when we arrived after a long drive we were pleasantly surprised. We were 12 people total, 2 adults and 10 teens. The unit sleeps 13 so we where very comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped and big enough for us. The unit in general was spacious and clean, VERY comfortable and inviting. We had an amazing time. As far as the process to rent and the flow of communications with Pam, the manager, all worked just perfect; phone and emails were responded promptly and courteous. Deposit was returned next day. Parking was good in the condo convenient parking garage. The condo has access controlled by a security person at the entry. Security personnel was also visible in the parking garage and at the beach and pool areas. Over all we had a very good experience and a great vacation. Highly recommended. To keep or review short and simple, the reviews by Nancy and Ruthie are accurate. Thanks Pam, we will come back.

The spacious, newly decorated unit was perfect for our Easter/Spring Break vacation for our family of 7, including a 3, 5, and 7 year old. The kitchen was well equipped and appliances were perfect. The deck and beautiful view with gorgeous sunsets was enjoyed by us all. The amenities were wonderful, from the indoor and outdoor pool/slide, to hot tubs, saunas, and workout facility, those all with beautiful views also. It is very close to an assortment of shopping and good restaurants. The managers are very accommodating and ready to answer/resolve any question or concern quickly. Our family of 8 came down over spring vacation and had a wonderful time! The kids, ages 8-15, enjoyed the huge pool, the lazy river and water slide. On the cooler days, they loved the enormous, heated (nice and warm water) indoor pool. The many hot tubs and state of the art fitness center was also a big hit. This place is secure with 24 hour security and huge! Even the hallways were enormous! This unit was nearly 2000 sq. feet, brand new and well appointed. Plenty of space with great furnishings (no wicker in this classy place!) The kitchen was well stocked, the washer and dryer was great and the bunk bed room slept 5 - perfect for a family with several kids. The TV's took some getting used to as they were the new "smart TV's" but the managers came over to give us a quick lesson on how to use the more high-tech remotes. Even the owner, Tom, who was also wonderful, came to see if we had any questions on anything and he also showed us how to use the new remotes. The balcony was huge and we had great views and excellent sunsets every night. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! We have traveled extensively using VRBO and I have to honestly say that the managers of this unit, Pam and John, were SO attentive and caring. It is rare to find such a gorgeous unit with such caring managers. They returned the deposit right away also. Several of our friends who were vacationing down in Alabama came to see the indoor pool on the rainy days and decided they are going to rent here next year. This unit was less expensive than many smaller units our friends rented and they didn't have the incredible pools! We look forward to coming back soon!
