Memorial Day Weekend in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach

Memorial Day weekend on the Alabama Gulf Coast is what we like to call the "Kickoff to Summer" and one of the best times to visit.

The kids are out of school, the weekend is long and the weather is absolutely beautiful for a beach vacation.

There are activites taking place all weekend in the area to celebrate the start of Alabama's favorite time of year.

This year, Liquid Life is celebrating Memorial Day with discounted rates through May

If you haven't booked your condo rental for the weekend yet, see our available units here.

Memorial Day weekend is all about the water! Boating, beaching, splashing and grilling.

If you're planning a trip to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, don't miss the Annual 100 days of Summer kickoff at The Wharf.

The event begins at 5:00 on Main Street with the Pepsi Beach Ball Drop. Witness thousands of beach balls fall from the sky above the iconic marlin statue. Look out for specially marked beach balls for a chance to win prizes including concert tickets! Kids activities will be taking place throughout the evening including bouncy houses, rock climbing wall, water surf inflatable, face painting and more. The beach balls drop at 6:30, followed by The Wharf's famous Spectra Light and Sound Spectacular. The Wharf is the best place for family fun events and the Pepsi Beach Ball Drop is no exception!
