3 Local Lunch Spots to Check-Out on the Gulf Coast

One of the best parts about vacation is the food. The hardest part about vacation is deciding where to eat. Some of our favorite places to dine are Cheeseburger Randy’s, Avenue Pub, and YoHo Rum & Tacos. Each of these restaurants has a different vibe and menu, so no matter what you're in the mood for, one of them is sure to be a great choice.

If you want the best cheeseburger on the Gulf Coast, be sure to visit Cheeseburger Randy’s in Foley. This local favorite is an outdoor restaurant where you simply walk up, place your order, and then find a seat to enjoy your meal. It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back lunch. There is covered seating with fans to help keep you cool, as well as picnic tables out in the open if you want to soak up the sunshine. They offer three signature cheeseburgers, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Be sure to save room for the sides because they are just as good as the burgers.

When you're spending the day on the water and it's time for lunch, pull your boat right up to Avenue Pub. Located on the water in Orange Beach, Avenue Pub has its own boat dock, making it an easy and convenient stop during a day of boating. Their shrimp tacos are our favorite and make the perfect lunch after a morning in the sun. If you're not arriving by boat, don't worry—they also have regular parking, making it just as easy to visit by car. Whether you're coming off the water or just looking for a great waterfront meal, Avenue Pub is always a solid choice.

YoHo Rum & Tacos, located at The Wharf, is one of our favorite places to grab lunch or dinner after spending the day shopping or exploring. The fun atmosphere, colorful décor, and laid-back coastal vibe make it a great place to relax and unwind. Their menu offers a variety of fresh tacos, flavorful appetizers, and refreshing drinks, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're craving seafood, chicken, or something a little different, you'll find plenty of delicious options. It’s also a great place to sit outside, enjoy the lively atmosphere at The Wharf, and end the day with a great meal before heading home or catching one of the many events held there.

No matter what you're craving, these three restaurants are some of our favorite places to eat along the Gulf Coast. Whether you're looking for an incredible cheeseburger, a waterfront lunch during a day on the boat, or tacos after shopping at The Wharf, each restaurant offers a unique experience that keeps us coming back. We hope you'll give them a try on your next vacation and discover a new favorite of your own!
